Dipper woke up to the sound of his alarm. A foreign sound to him after this long of having no sleep schedule. He picked up his phone and shut off the alarm, getting up and walking to the bathroom. He didn't really have to get ready, but it was a requirement for him to have his camera on during the school meetings so he wanted to look like he was up for a little while.

He changed his shirt into something more acceptable for school, then combed out his hair. Leaving the bathroom, the teen walked back into his room and pulled out his laptop, logging into Schoology so he could go to his first class. Dipper clicked the link and logged in to his school account to join his class meeting.

Dipper was always an overachiever, so he made sure to be the first person to log in to class. He was a full 2 minutes early, and only the teacher was logged in. He clicked off his mic and joined the meeting. The teacher looked up at the sound and Dipper waved at her. The name below her picture said Emma Goodyear. The teacher unmuted her mic and spoke to him.

"Hi Mason, you're the first one in today. How was your summer?"

"Hi Ms. Goodyear. My summer was alright. Can you call me by my nickname please? It's Dipper."

"Alright Dipper. If you want, you could change your name on your email to make it easier."

"Oh, yeah. I can do that. Thanks." Dipper muted his mic and clicked on his profile, changing his name from Mason Pines to Dipper Pines.

A few minutes later, students began to fill into the room. Some sitting at their desks, some at their kitchen tables, and others haven't even gotten out of bed. Dipper considered scrolling through the list of names on the side, but decided it didn't matter if he knew anyone since he couldn't see them anyways.

When class officially started, the teacher spoke up. "Welcome in everyone. Thanks for logging in on time. Don't forget to take attendance with the link on my Schoology page. I'll give you all some time to do that.

Dipper switched tabs to the attendance form and filled it out, confirming that he did in fact join class. After a while, the teacher spoke up again. "Alright, so if everyone could please click on the Monday folder and open up the Google doc we can get started on today's assignment. Since it's the first day, you guys'll just write two sentences about yourself. Then once everyone's done I'll send you each a link to a separate meet to get to know each other."

Dipper didn't really mind these icebreaker days. Since he wasn't really one to start a conversation, doing school online gave him some more confidence. He opened the doc and scrolled until he found his name, with a blank space next to it, waiting for the two sentences to be typed in. He changed his name on the document to be Dipper instead of Mason, and wrote a quick summary of himself.

My name is Dipper Pines and I have a twin sister named Mabel Pines. I like to read and visit my Great Uncle's house in Oregon.

Satisfied with his little backstory, Dipper clicked into his email to check if the teacher sent him his link yet. She did, so Dipper joined the meeting to find that he was not the only one there. The image of a blonde haired individual looking down at something off screen, most likely his phone, appeared in front of him. Dipper knew who this person was before even reading his name on the corner of the screen, and seeing him again made him smile. He unmuted his mic and talked to the person not paying attention on the other side of the screen.

"Bill, Hi! I didn't notice you joined this class."

At hearing his name, Bill looked up from his phone, smiling once he noticed who was there. "Hiya, Dipper! Haven't seen you in forever. How's quarantine been treating you?"
