"Yo! We're coming at you live from Camp Wawanakwa, somewhere in Muskoka, Ontario. I'm your host, Chris Mclean. Dropping season one of the hottest new reality show on television, right now!" Chris Mclean says to the camera crew as they are rolling. Chris is exited to see the twenty four teenagers go through hell and get pissed off.
"Here's the deal, 24 campers have signed up to spend eight weeks right here at this crummy old summer camp. They'll compete in challenges against each other. Then have to face the judgement of their fellow campers. Every three days, one team will either win a reward, or watch one of their team member's walk down the dock of shame. Take a ride on the loser boat an leave Total Drama Island, for good!" Chris continues with a small laugh.
"Their fate will be decided here, at the dramatic campfire ceremonies where each week, all but one camper will receive a marshmallow. In the end, only one will be left standing and will be rewarded with cheesy tabloid fame and a small fortune, which let's face it, they'll probably blow in a week. To survive, they'll have to battle. Black flies. Grizzly bears. Disgusting camp food!"
"Hey now," a worm says from the disgusting camp food.

"And each other. Every moment will be caught on one of the hundreds of cameras situated all over the camp. Who will crumble under the pressure? Find out here right now on... Total Drama Island!"
The camera crew stops their camera to take a short break and make sure the cameras are in working order so that they can film the teens arrival!"
"Okay, we're good!" A random camera man says.

Chris clears his throat before the countdown to start talking. "Welcome back to Total Drama Island. All right, it's time to meet our first 11 campers. We told them they'd all be staying at a five star resort, so if they seem a little T.O.ed, that's probably why. Beth, what's up?"

A short brunette girl with braces and black rimmed glasses comes running off the boat, over to Chris.
"Its so incredulous to meet you. Wow, you're much shorter in real life," Beth says to Chris. She has a lisp due to her braces and that annoys Chris to the max.
"Uh, thanks. D.J," Chris says, moving Beth out of his way. A tall dark skinned teen walks off the boat which zooms away as fast as possible.
"Yo, Chris Mclean. How's it going? Hey, you sure you got the right place here? Where's the hot tub at?" D.J asks Chris confused. He knew that this place is definitely not the place on the application form.
"Yo, dawg, this is it. Camp Wawanakwa!" Chris says with a big smile. D.J looks around unimpressed.
"Humph. Looked a lot different on the application form," D.J mumbles to himself, walking over to where Beth is standing.

"Hey, Gwen," Chris says as the boat comes to the deck, bringing a girl with too much hair dye and a gothic look to her.
"You mean we're staying here?" The girl, Gwen says, her voice cracking a bit.
Chris tried not to laugh.
"No, you're staying here. My crib is an airstream with A.C. That-a-way," Chris says, pointing to where the cabins lay a couple hundred feet away.
"I did not sign up for this!" Gwen yells to Chris.
"Actually, you did," Chris says, showing Gwen a dummy thicc stack of paper. Gwen takes the stack and rips it in half, throwing it into the water with a smug look on her face.
"The great thing about lawyers is... they make lots of copies," Chris says, showing Gwen another thick stack on paper. Gwen starts to get annoyed by Chris real quick.
"I am not staying here," Gwen says, picking up her bags.
"Cool. I hope you can swim though, because your ride just left," Chris laughs, pointing to the boat that brought Gwen to the island. The boat honks its horn just to piss Gwen off even more.
"Jerk!" Gwen yells, going over to the other two people here with an unimpressed look.

A few minutes later, the boat comes back, carrying a party blonde beach boy.
"Chris Mclean! 'Sup man! It's an honor to meet you, man!" The blonde says to Chris, giving him a fist bump.
"The Geoff-Ster. Welcome to the island, man," Chris says to Geoff.
"Thanks, man," Geoff says giving Chris another fist bump.
"They say man one more time, I'm gonna puke," Gwen says annoyed. Beth and D.J slowly back away from the angry girl. Geoff goes over to the others, waving to them.
