                        2 years later

          Ebony's pov

I was curled up next to mom, while Pastel was sleeping on the floor like a weirdo. Dad had gone on a business trip to Paris for work. He's an artist; what do you expect?

We were waiting to be picked up by a friend of mom's to go to who knows where. I asked mom and she said that she didn't know either. Surprise trip.

Her friend finally knocked on the door and we left for the airport.

After we got on the plane, mom's friend left. Guess she wasn't coming.

                 Time skip.

I am lost. In the most literal way.

I don't know where mom or Pastel went and I had no clue what language the people around me were talking in. A few understood what I was trying to say, but they had no clue where my family went.

I went to this guy and tapped on his shoulder.

"Oui? (Yes?)"

"Ummm, have you seen my mom and sister?" I asked hesitantly.

"Oh! You speak English! Sorry, um, I don't think so, what do they look like?"

"Oh God! I can't describe very well, ummm," I described what they were wearing. That works, right?

"Okay, um, come with me. I think that they just asked me about you!" He said as he put his pencils and sketch book in a small sack. I followed him.

               Time skip

We have not found them.

Then an explosion occurred. (What is it with me in explosions?) A fight.

"Stay here" I heard the guy say to me as he left.

              ???? Pov

Who in the heck is fighting? Of course, one of the main criminals was fighting a . . . Young adult?

A girl was crying nearby, who, honestly, looks like my daughter.

I wacked my weapon against the criminals head.

"SIS! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?! WHERES MOM?!"

The girl whimpered and shook her head. I knelt down next to the two of them and stayed with them until thier mother showed up. I couldn't see her face because the good was covering it.

They were talking when the boy gestured to my general direction. She glanced over at me and walked to me.

"Thank yo- PALETTE?!?!"

"G-GOTH! I tackle-hugged her and she hugged back.

"Ebony, Pastel, come say hello to your father."

I looked at him and hugged him. Pastel was a lot more hesitant.

Me and mom let go and dad directed himself to Pastel with his arms open. "It's okay, dear." He reassured her.

She walked to him slowly and hesitantly hugged him and he hugged back.

And I'm wondering, can we go home now? 😂
