chapter one: remember the name

"U-um" I stammered, eyes darting back and forth between the poor woman lying lifeless on the floor and the thing eating her. I start to back away.

"Sorry to intrude." I squealed as the.. Man? Stood. Its eyes! Its eyes had black sclera with glowing red irises.

Is he a demon of something?

The demon-man-thing started to slowly walk in my direction, me taking a step back for every step he takes forward. "I didn't mean to interrupt your- uh m-meal. I j-just kinda dropped in and was finding my way around. I'm sorry-" he lunged at me, causing me to yelp. I turned and and Ran in another direction praying to the heavens that he's slower than me.

"Welcome to tokyo!" a voice said in my head startling me. You! What did you do?! Where am i?!

"Your in tokyo. I just said that." the demon man thing behind me growled loudly, enceringing me to run faster. I knocked over a stack of crates, hoping it would slow him down.

"You are currently in the world of 'tokyo ghoul' a japinese manga series made by Sui Ishida. Turned into an anime in 2011. It takes place in a world were ghouls, the thing chasing you right now, rome the earth."

I turn a corner, splashing through a puddle when i hear a crash, then the demon- ghoul rowr in frustration.

"Ghous are human-like creatures that can only eat human flesh and can regenerate. Fun right?"

Fantastic. Climbing up a latter i found attached to the side of a building as fast as I can. Thats fan-fucking-tastic.

"I know right! Anyway the anime follows a college aged boy named kaneki ken."

The latter rattles I look down to see the ghoul at the bottom of the latter climbing after me. Shit. I have to go faster.

"Kaneki-kun was human growing up but due to an accident and a rushed organ transplant he was turned into a ghoul."

I reached the top of the latter.

"Going through this change understandably put a strain on his life and his freadship. He was introduced to a world he was not yet ready for."

Running across the rooftop.

"He finds a group of ghouls that help him agust to to his new life. He realizes that the struggles of being a ghoul is more than what he has to eat."

The ghoul made it to the top of the latter.

"An organization call the commission of counter ghoul is working to eliminate all ghouls under the impression that all ghouls are bad."

I round a corner, running towards the ledge of the building. Preparing to make the jump.

"But not all of them are. Plenty of ghouls are peaceful and just want to live.and he realizes this more and more the longer he is one, that ghouls can have the same feelings and relations as humans."

Running to build up speed, I jump. Aiming for the ledge of the next building.

"But just as he was getting used to his new life, after making friends and some enemies, he was kidnapped."

Missing the ledge I slammed into the wall just below it and fell to the ground, landing on my backside.i groaned and clutched my head, which was throbbing from the impacted when i heard a roar coming from the rooftop above me. I got to my feet and started running again.

"His kidnapper was a ghoul named jason. In his captivity jason tortured kaneki-kun for days on end. Head cut off his fingers and toes then waited for them to grow back before cutting them off again. All while his mind did its own torture."

I continued to run through the dark alleys, turning and twisting down the backstreets and narrow passageways until the screaming and yelling of the ghoul was too far to hear.

"All the mental and physical torture he went through caused him to snap. He attacked and killed his captor."

Breathing Hard I slid my back down a brick wall till my butt it the cold floor.

"This unfortunate man will be your target. He's a 5.5 jappinees man with gray eyes and white hair. He has a muscular form, blackened nails, and relatively pain skin. He wears an eyepatch over his right eye and is seen mostly in monochrome clothing. You have 31 days to make him fall for you. Good luck my little heartbreaker."

And with that the voice is gone.

I'm still breathing heavy as I comprehend everything that just happened.

I have 31 days to make i traumatized flesh eating monster to fall in love with me. Great. I think to myself as I clutch my head with both hands. I feel like im two steps away from a panic attack.

This is insane. This fucking fairy woman came from out of nowhere to drop me in another dimenchon to play her sick and twisted game. I hate this.

A loud growling noise came from my stomach followed by an intense throbbing in my eyes. I moaned in pain. It feels like I haven't eaten in years, and the pressure in my eyes. It's like they're going to pop.

I crawl over to a puddle not far from where I was seated and gasp when I see myself in the reflection.

Instead of my normal chocolate brown, read and black eyes stare back at me. Red vein like lines came from my eyes and down my dark cheeks, pulsing with my heartbeat. I cover my mouth to muffle an already silent scream. This can't be happening.

All of a sudden a wave of fatigue washed over me. I flopped back against the brick wall, the need to sleep overwhelming my hunger. Closing my eyes I silently cursing the fairy bitch that put me in this situation and praying to the gods that I don't get killed in my sleep.

"And a little tip," A voice said as I slowly drifted into a dreamless slumber, "Remember the name 'Eyepatch'"
