The start of the adventure: part 1

Emilia's POV

Sept. 3!
Dear Diary,
Nearly first day of school! Growing up I watched out for rising hero schools because I want to protect my family and determined to get to UA HIGH! I thought about it while jumping around on the couches whaiting for my mother to finish another potion request from the Chisaki gang, she had been getting more from the LOV but that was more of collecting than potions.

I start thinking about how I wish I had our wolf back, yes we had a wolf, and he appeared! We obviously freaked cause we had burrieds him about 1 month ago. I ran and hugged him! It was really fun! My parents got extremely confused while I began playing with the 'dead' dog. Soon after I became tired and he disappeared into sparkles, more like tiny balls of light.

Soon later we found out that it was the cause of my quirk. It was cool though because I asked Wolfie if he would stay with me forever and he gave what looked like a nod. Everybody thought in spirit but it turns out he meant literally! I realized that with good connections I could have many cool animals to summon! And so we started practicing.

Sept. 4

Dear Diary,
OH MY GOSH! I JUST GREW UP, I know how to read, can reach the highest shelf with out my parents, and fit all my moms clothes! We were practicing summoning Wolfie and I wish I could grow up to a point where this was easy, AND I DID! I can write in my journal now without my parents doing it for me! This is a great day! We also walked past a lady speaking Spanish and I responded in Spanish! Were guessing I have many levels to my quirk, and I cant wait to know them all!

So I got tired again and reverted to my original age. It suck but ill just have to work harder! Then I may be able to go into UA high earlier! I hope so!

Sept. 5

Dear Diary,
I AM SKIPPING ALL GRADES! I have decided! No one can stop me! I'll just go straight into UA high! Learn everything I need, and help my family quicker!

So I went and concurred! Although I hadn't planned for the written test I had... so I was caught. I also got really tired at the end and stopped holding my teen form, so they kinda figured me out. BUT they gave me a fighting chance!

After repeatedly telling them I have what it takes to be a hero no matter my age, they said they would enroll me! Although I would be taking special classes as I am only 5 and have not gone to kindergarten yet, and the fact that ill be practicing with special training as well as with the normal teens because of how well I did in the physical exam. So UA here I come!

And so I did, going to UA as her school from then on... and it was soon to be more.

It had been 7 years since I had started going to UA for a school! Finishing my grade 9 work I was on my way home when the news and a crowd of people had stopped me.

"Breaking news! A huge fight broke out in the famously known 'Bewitching' Cafe by the Varlette family! Killing everybody inside as well as the Parents leaving their 12 year old daughter behind! The terrible accident began when a villain attempted to attack! No one has currently found the reasoning and the damage continues..."

the loud TV announcement, as well as the gasping and consoles from people I knew drowned out as she thought about the night before.

We had another visit from the Chisaki group, normally done when the plans had changed. I went into my room as normal because my family wanted me to follow my own dream not what was set out for me. I couldn't find my headphones before I heard the intense yelling from the living room.

I became worried and intrigued because normally its calm chatting not arguments, so leaning my head against the door to hear better I had heard mother yelling about how she would never do such a horrible thing, and a Chisaki member yelling about how they needed her for the plan to work on time, by then dad had come home from work and protected mom before the member could hurt her. They left soon after.

Deciding not to go out in fear of being scolded for listening in I stayed in my room the rest of the night doubting anything could go wrong. The next morning dad had already left for work and mom gave me a goodbye like I would never see them again. With the horrid realization I finally zoned back in and ran away from all the people asking if I was ok, and straight toward the Cafe.

Once I reached the cafe I saw rubble, police blocking it off, and blood... letting me through as I was the daughter and hoping I had info, I just ran straight towards the rubble.

Soon after they took me to the police station asking me about if there was any reason they would do such a thing. I was still broken over the death and knew that if they had died from it they wouldn't want me to get involved in any way with the Chisaki group. So I said nothing.

After making my way home with police as bodyguards for a few days, I packed my things knowing I could not sustain a whole house at 12, I couldn't even get a job at that age.

Shota knocked after 2 hours of me getting home. And I had answered when I heard the sleepy voice console me.

"Look i know its a hard time for you right now and I get that, we were all close to the marvel students parents. But if you'd be willing to let me in so I can talk-" opening the door and seeing my main teacher, aside from nezu who could teach me during normal classes, standing there slightly red eyed and hunched. I ran hugging him and balling for the 5th time today, he hugged back petting my head in an attempt to calm the sad 12 year old clinging onto him.

As soon as I had calmed down I invited him inside remembering he had something to talk about. We sat down on the couch and he bagan with what he wanted to say.

"I am still very sorry for the loss and because there is no near place for you to go the staff of UA decided to make an offer, we plan on making dorms within the next year anyways and were wondering if you would like to stay with one of the teachers till then, although if they have family we may need to check with them as well." I teared up once more with the memory of what happened and the fact that they care about me enough to ask if I wanted to stay there. "Of course! I'd be happy to, who are the offers?"

"Oh ok, well right away they're are nezu, Hizashi, Nemuri and me. As we are the ones who have schooled you the most and have the best connection."

"Gee, Hitachi and Nemuri sound like a blast to live with, and nezu sound worrying with how he feels with humans. But I'd really prefer to live with... you!" Giving a big brave smile, assuring him i won't be a bother or too emotional.

"Ok ill let the staff know and I will take care of the paperwork." I nod in understanding, and my smile turns mischievous as I think of a great way to bug him.
"So does this mean I can call you dad?"

"Don't push your luck kid. I can still take out my offer I havent done the paper work yet." He gets up a pats my head on the way. Then begins to head out and presumably back to the school. I wave goodbye and smile wider knowing that will be a fun thing to annoy him. Once the door closes my smile drops, thinking about any way I could have stopped it. Shaking the thoughts out of my head I charge back into my room to finish packing and get supper ready for one.
