The exam!

    And so I did, I got good grades, and over the summer I worked at the zoo again. Everyone wondered on my choice of work there, but I just went with it.

    I had gained a few familiars because of it, bonding, making familiars, training with them. I had acquired a house cat, swan, lizard, rabbit and butterfly. Very difficult getting the last one might i add.

    So, I joined the UA early. I had gotten in by recommendation of course, but I really wanted to know the others I would be against. So I joined, all teachers acted as if I was knew as to not be targeted or angering towards the other students.

    I come to my usual school, and for the first time in a while, I was unable to stop grinning. I ran to the written test and blew through it, I had been doing this stuff for a few weeks before school was out. Even after it was out I continued to work at home with occasional help from dadzawa. So the test things was a breeze, after finishing freakishly early compared to other applicants I wondered if the actual schooling would be necessary.

    Next was the practical test, after present mic explained we were grouped and sent to different places. I was in center A. I headed to the bus I was told and sat down near the driver, I thought no one else would and know pretty much all the staff. I chatted with the driver on the way to an urban city. I knew the basics because dadzawa would talk to me about it over coffee. Once we got there I saw a mid sized angry blonde. 

    "Hey! Excited for the test?" I bound over to him, he seems like he's just putting up a front so it should be fun! Clearly annoyed he responds.

    "Back off you sidekick."

"I never did anything to offend you bud, calm down or else you might not make it as a good hero."

    "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME PUNK?!" he lunges at me,  dodging I grab his arm.

"Hey, save the energy for the battle. Good luck!" after shooting him a hopeful smile I run past them all and head into the arena that has opened. Bad observing from them apparently. While everyone is distracted being yelled at by present mic I summon my butterfly, eagle, and wolf for starters.

    I send Hawking and Butterball, the butterfly, to search for more and notify me. While me and Wolfie hunt for bots from the ground. By the time everyone else had realized and ran away, I had taken out my first few. Hawking an Butterball would circle a bot where I could clearly see them, and we went around breaking them. I had used Spotty as another familiar in use. I kept it at that as I didn't want to over exert myself.

    Quite a few time the blonde had come in from nowhere and stolen the bot I had tracked, he probably figured out about my scouts. So I got pretty peeved and snuck I on him in my cat form, ambushing and stealing points from him. The anger on his face was worth it.

    Having 80 points by the time the big bot came out, I explored to see if anyone was injured as well as stray bots or people to watch out for. I saved a few people from debris or cornering's, seeing a few people to be watchful of. after everybody kept running from the big zero I decided to take it on myself. I ran up using spotty and flipped to Wolfie right before slashing it to bits.

 By the end I had close to 90 points from combat alone. Figuring there was a rescue points seeming as it was a hero exam I accounted for that even if I was unsure how it would be played out. I added 10% to my combat which gave me 99 points at least. I gave myself a safe 100 to make it even, based on others muttering their points I'm guessing I'm in the clear for passing.

    The wait wasn't bad, by the few days passed I forgot I was waiting period. Dadzawa comes in with a letter from UA and hands it to me. Thanking him I run to my room to open it. He sat in the living room for he knew the answer. A total of 117 points. Top of the mark by far. I laughed imagining the look on the blondies face when he finds out he wasn't first. I  asked Shota who the spikey boy was and he gave me the answer from the description. Busting out laughing even harder remembering he was the name below mine.

     He finished his coffee and we did training in the backyard. Few more months and I would be officially enrolled into UA high! Until then, training and zoo volunteering.
