"Wake up...get out."
Pita woke up last night's booty call and made him pick up after himself (the condom that he never used) and throw it away. He was so high from the night before that he wasn't even questioning anything he was just following instructions. But she made sure he was conscious enough to believe he wore a condom. She kicked him out and then started checking Shia's social media pages. She hadn't contacted him since he left her home. She didn't want to fan the "she's a psycho" fire that he was lighting. She saw that he was spending Christmas Eve with his cousin and she remembered that he said he had to get a tree to light up. So she dressed and went to the where she knew he would be going and tried to act inconspicuous. He saw her and froze and when she made eye contact she acted like as though it was purely coincidental and started to run away from him. She wanted him to believe that she was the one avoiding him. When he saw her running away he called her phone and she looked at him and then ignored his call. She went to her car and he followed her there. "Hey...I'm sorry, I put everything on you and you were right. I actively participated in everything that happened. But you caught me off guard with all those feelings and emotions you said you had. I'm sorry. I'm not changing my mind or leaving my wife, but I am sorry for how I spoke to you." Shia sounds like he genuinely meant what he said. "Shia I didn't meant to put everything on you like that. Did I mean it? Yea. Did I want it to come out like that or even at all? No! I know you're married and I'm not a home wrecker, I just feel a connection to you and it drove me to want to be the best thing in your life I guess. Sorry for coming on so strong I guess." Pita's eyes welled up as she spoke. Shia looked at her and said "I can't be mad at you for wanting to make me happy, but we can't do this again. We can't have sex. Not even phone sex. We can only be friends. Can you do that?" Pita looked at him innocently and responded "of course I can, it's all I want! Just for us to be friends and for you to be happy" Shia gave her a hug and remembered that she didn't have Christmas Day plans. "Would you like to come over for Christmas lunch as my friend?" He asked. "Only if you're sure you want me there." She responded. He chuckled and pat her head before walking away.
Was it really this easy? Are all men this naive? Be friends? You gave me the greatest night of both our lives and now you want to be my friend? Nope. Find another friend. Make your wife your ex and then ask her to be a friend. Pita was certain that Shia was gonna fall in love with her...
After all; she was about to be the mother of his child.
