I smiled softly as I sat down on the deck, looking at the view of the ocean in front of me. I know I've mentioned it before but the moon is so incredibly beautiful and up close in this world.

I felt someone sit down beside me.

"Beautiful, isn't it?"

I nodded my head in reply, "Incredibly. Not as beautiful as you though."

I couldn't help but sneak in a flirty line. It was honestly out of habit. Sometimes I even take myself by surprise by how flirty I can be.

Nayeon chuckled, "That is true."

I laughed along with her. A comfortable silence settled as we both took a moment to appreciate the nice view.

The wind had picked up quite significantly. It would definitely be freezing if I didn't wear a raincoat.

Thank you, grandpa.

A sudden memory made me turn my whole body to face Nayeon, "How is your cheek? Does it still hurt?"

"It stung for quite a bit but it's fine now," She replied softly.

I gently reached out and stroked the side of her cheek the colonial leader had slapped, "It took everything in us to not jump out of our hiding spot and attack him, you know."

"Yeah, I know," Nayeon chuckled and smiled, "It's nice to know that you care so much about us already."

I shrugged in embarrassment, unsure how to respond. I removed my hand off her cheek and cleared my throat.

I'm very fast to care about the people I meet. But I never admit it because it's one way to get used. I'm not saying I'll get used here but it's out of habit to think this way.

My stomach growled, disturbing the silence. I blushed as Nayeon laughed. She stood up and offered me her hand. I gently took it and got pulled up.

"Let's go get you some food," She chuckled and pulled me along below deck.

I was pleasantly surprised to see many fruits and coconuts on the shelves. It was so different from last time where the the shelves were almost completely void of food.

She grinned at my reaction, "That island had some good stuff."

I chuckled, "Yeah. I can see that."
