3rd PERSON POV

Adira was angry, well upset. The boys are already trying to find a way to get a new gig, without talking to Julie. She's known Julie for a while now and she knows that Julie isn't the forgive and forget type.

"You guys are idiots! Have you even talked to Julie? Have you considered how this would make her feel?" Adira faced the three boys. "How would it make her feel, Adira? Please tell us?" Luke said sarcastically. He knew Adira was going to tell them anyway.

"She'll think that you guys didn't care about missing the dance. That it was just so easy to forget the dance and get a new gig like no tomorrow" she huffed and crossed her arms. Adira was genuinely curious on how these guys even make it through the day. "Does Alex on have the one brain cell that you three share? Because it obviously seems like nobody is thinking clearly" Reggie's held a hand over his chest.

"I'll have you know we're very smart. We figured out how to do a bunch of cool ghost things" Reggie tried to defend themselves, but it clearly wasn't working. "Whatever. I need a break from you three" she mumbled and walked passed them. Adira was going to poof up to Julie's but decided to wait outside the garage door to hear what they have to say.

"Don't worry about her, guys. As soon as we find a gig, Julie and Adira will come back" she scoffed and snapped her fingers up to Julie's room. Those boys had some nerve. "Hey" Adira said, scaring Julie and causing her to jump.

"What's new?" She asked and sat next to Julie. "Oh, you know the usual, hating the boys. Quitting the band" Julie said sarcastically same. "Same here. I quit after you ran out" Julie sat up and looked at her. "You did not, did you?" She asked.

"I did" Adira confirmed. "I just can't keep going back and forth with them, you know? I know that if we bailed on them for a performance, they'd be angry and they'd never want to talk to us again" Julie nodded her head in agreement. "I mean, it's crazy. I thought that we were friends. That the music we were writing was special. But all they care about is revenge" Adira sighed.

"Julie, if we're gonna be honest, I agree with the boys messing with Bobby. Not with skipping the dance. For the longest time, those boys thought Bobby was a great friend, just for them to find out he stole their songs with no credit. There are some things that you don't know about the boys yet, but they had their good reasons" Adira promised. "What about you?" Julie asked suddenly.

"What do you mean?" Adira was confused. "What was your reason for getting back at Bobby?" Julie asked. "Oh, Bobby got me kicked out of the band. Stole a song and caused friendships to be ruined. He had to pay for that one" Adira explained.

Julie nodded, there wasn't much that could be said. "Can you tell me the prom story?" Julie suddenly remembered. "Really? You want to hear about how Luke became my date after everything that just happened? Are you sure?" Adira knew hearing about the boys was still a sensitive subject for Julie. Julie just nodded in response.

"Ok- um, I don't know how to start this. So basically, a couple days before prom, I walked into school and everybody, and I mean everybody was there. I came face-to-face with this guy who had flowers and a sign, asking for me to be his date. It was cute and I didn't have a date, so I said yes" Adira started explaining.

"I didn't know much about him, so for the days leading up to it we got to know each other a little bit better. The day of prom, I got dressed in this nice emerald green dress. Luke and I's parents wanted pictures, so we did that. Luke wasn't going because he had a date, he went because the band was performing" Julie perked up at that.

"Who replaced you that night?" Julie asked curiously. "Bobby. He was new and Luke figured he could handle it, basically giving me a free night. But, back to the story" Adira focused back on telling the story.

"Luke was in a navy blue tux. I had never seen that boy wear anything else other than cut-offs and jeans. So seeing him in that was definitely weird. But, this guy and I walked in together and it was nice. We danced, talked, laughed. It was a good night till he tried to kiss me and I told him no. He got upset and stormed off, leaving by myself for the next three hours. Reggie and Alex would dance with me just to have some fun and ask what happened. But, Luke was my true date that night" she smiled at the memory.

"I was sitting at this table all by myself, completely bored out of my mind and was getting ready to go home. When Luke offered his hand and asked me to dance. It was sweet, we danced and laughed the entire night. I honestly should've just ask Luke to be my date from the beginning" Adira finished. Julie gushed about how cute the story was.

"I wish Nick was like that" Julie realized what she said as soon as she saw the smirk on Adira's face. "I didn't mean- you know- ugh! You know what I meant!" Julie stumbled over her words. Adira laughed and Julie joined in. Then it got quiet. "Adira?" Julie asked. "Hmm?" Adira looked back at her. "How do you know if you like somebody? Like, how do you know that your crush is somebody that you truly like?" She was taken back. She didn't expect Julie to ask a question like that.

"For me? It's a connection. Somebody that you know that makes you smile and can turn your whole day around with a laugh. It's when you just want to be with them. Somebody that knows you inside and out. That can tell when your having a bad day. Or just somebody that you can relate to. Somebody that you draw the same emotions from" Adira tried to explain it the best she could. The problem was that Adira never really had to deal with these questions, she kind of just knew.

"What's this about? Are you liking somebody? Besides Nick?" She asked Julie. "I don't know. I've just been thinking a lot recently. And it's just been on my mind. And with what you and Flynn say, I don't know, it's just how do I tell if I like Nick for Nick? Or if I like him because he's cute?" Julie asked. Adira was confused, she had no idea where this was coming from or that it was even on her mind.

"That's something you'll have to figure out yourself, Jules. You'll just... know if it feels right. But don't worry about it, ok? You have time. You're still young" Adira tried to place a hand on the girls, but it went right through.

She sighed. "It's been a long day. I'm tired, you're tired. I'll see you tomorrow" Adira gave her a smile and snapped her fingers poofing to the garage.

It had been a long day and Adira was just ready to go to bed. Flopping on the couch and closing her eyes, finally. "What?" She groaned. "You have got to teach me how to do that. I'm starting to think Reggie was right, you are a witch" she opened her eyes to see Luke and Alex standing above her.

"What do you want?" She asked. "Did you talk to Julie? Is she still mad at us?" Luke asked. Adira wasn't going to be caught in the middle of the this. This was between the boys and Julie. "If you want to know, why don't you go ask her yourself?" She now sat up in the couch, realizing that this wasn't going to be a simple conversation.

"Why do you make everything so difficult?" Alex groaned. "Here we go" he mumbled and flopped on the couch. " I'm being difficult? I wasn't the one who bailed on Julie. You can't ask me to ask her to forgive you guys. I haven't even fully forgiven you guys!" She raised her voice.

"But why? I said I'm sorry!" Luke yelled back. "And I told you that we can work through it but... I'm not joining the band again. You know, Alex knows that" Adira pointed to Alex on the couch. "Guys, I don't really wanna be involved in the middle of this" Alex said with a slightly nervous chuckle.

"Why are you being like this? Is it because you're too scared to face Bobby? You're a quitter!" Luke's face fell as soon as he realized what he said. "Get out" she said quietly. "Adira, I d-" Luke tried to apologize. "Get out!" She yelled. Luke didn't want to make her anymore angry, so he left.

"Adira, you know he didn't mean it" Alex said as she sat back down on the couch, resting her head on Alex's shoulder. "I know, but it's just something always with him, you know?" Alex nodded as he rested his head on top of hers. Both of them were tired and neither wanted to move. So they fell asleep.
