ERIKA'S POV

"Mother, what are you doing here?" Anneliese asked. We looked at each other very nervously. What if Mother saw that we come through that hole and suddenly, all of us will be in trouble. 

"Mrs. Edna wanted to see me. We were gonna harvest some fresh apples at their yard. My, my, what are you kids so dirty?" Mother went close to Anneliese and wipe her face with the scarf she had. 

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Mattel. I brought your daughter into some mess. We were studying about soil." Julian spoke. Phew, that was a close one. Mother would be very angry if she knew we went to the castle and broke in! Mother looked at Julian with a doubt.

"We were comparing the soil in each side of the castle." added Dominick. 

"Your highness, we are very sorry for the trouble my daughters brought. I passed through some guards and they are looking for you!" - Mother said and bow down. Such courtesy mother, he is not your prince type person.

"I know. May I borrow your scarf, Ma'am. I just need to hide." politely asked by Dominick and pulled the scarf which was hanging from my Mother's shoulder. My mother was surprised by his action and covered his face.

"I'll return this clean and dry tomorrow. Thank you!" Dominick said and looked at me before he ran away. And Julian went home, too. We started walking towards Mrs. Edna's yard. I was holding Mother's basket.

"Mother, I was just curious. What are you doing on the West? Mrs. Edna's house wasn't this far." Anneliese asked

"There was this guy who was selling some great clothes in the far West but it was closed today. So, I walked back and saw you kids." Mother said while tapping Anne's head. Huh? That was an odd answer. Why would she take the woods instead stay on the road? And as far as I know, the far end of West is a thick forest. 

"Next time Mother, you should bring us with you. We love to give our opinion about it." Anneliese said and smiled. Well, I guess I was just overthinking.

After harvesting some apples from Mrs. Edna's yard, we went straight home. We went to straight home and take a bath. I pulled the picture from my clothes and looked closely about it. That necklace seems to be familiar. I think I saw it before, like really. I pulled out my guitar and start playing some music. 

"Hey, you okay?" Anneliese said while brushing her hair. I saw my reflection from the mirror. 

"Yeah. Ofcourse, I'm fine." I lied.

"Liar. You play that music when something is bothering in your head. Now spill the tea, sis!" Anneliese said and sat beside me and waiting for me to talk. What am I gonna tell her? That I stole a picture from the castle and hide it from them? No way! 

"I see how Prince Dominick look at you before he swift." she teases me. What?! Why is she talking about Dominick?! Come on, 

"That guy never crosses in my head. Not even once!" I told her

"What about you and Julian? He appreciate your genius suggestion about the manhole!" I tease her back.

"What? No. Julian is clearly thinking I was only his friend, nothing more." she answered back

"But honestly, I should think more intelligently for the club. We can solve this. Believe it." she added and stood up. She sat at her bed and looked far away. Thank God she stopped teasing me with that stupid Prince. But seriously, I think the Princess was within the premises only. Judging the ashes from her room, it was fresh. And seems that she want to alter history. Without the Kingdom, Le'tam will be just a piece of wasteland and many conquerer will take advantage of this land. Dulcinea will never cover and help us in the future. Where are you Princess of Le'tam?
