ERIKA'S POV:

I woke up and looked at the clock. I was asleep for past 4 hours, and the class is over. I can feel my heart was so heavy and the pain in my shoulders and buttocks were slightly not painful anymore. I remembered our conversation with Prince Dominick. I touched my chest, why is this so painful?

The door in the infirmary open. I saw Anneliese, along with Julian entered. Anne smiled at me, and I smiled back. But I was hoping Prince Dominick will just appear. Yet, someone entered too. It was Kieran.

"How are you Erika?" Anneliese asked. I nodded for an answer. I wanted to cry but I can't, I can see the look of Anneliese face that she was so happy.

"Can you walk home?" Kieran asked and went close to me. He assisted on helping me to stand up and walked.

"Sure she can walk. But I don't think she is fine inside." The nurse suddenly said. I know what she mean.

"What she mean is that muscle sore!" I told everybody. I looked at the nurse and gave her a stay quiet look. She just smiled at me. We went home and Kieran assisted me until we went home.

It was a noisy walked home since Anneliese and Julian were talking about the classes earlier and I was giving them a fake smile so they won't sensed the pain I felt.

I just went home and Mother assisted me when I got home. I went straight to the bed and sleep. So this is what it feels to be broken. Its slowly stab you in the heart with many knives. So painful.

The next morning, I woke up early and I saw Anneliese that she was out of bed. I feel much better than yesterday. I did some stretching and run downstairs to cook breakfast. Mother is gone again. I saw the notes from the fridge that she will be back Monday morning. Why? Where did she go?

I finished doing breakfast and I went out to breath fresh air. Today is another day. Yey! I hope this day is better be good.

"Good morning, Erika! How is your sleep?" Anneliese said while holding a pot of plant. Wait? Where did she get this pot of plant? Could it be..

"Wait! Where did you get that?" I asked her.

"Julian just gave me this." She smiled and went straight inside the house. Hmmm.. I feel something weird from the two of them. I went inside again and get ready for school.

I went ahead to school since Anneliese wanted to walked with Julian. I went to the classroom, and gladly it was open. I was the first student to come into the classroom. I slowly opened my notes to review some class discussion and looked for the notes that I should give to Kieran. I turned each page and saw the symbol from Mother's scarf. I looked very careful.

"Why would mother have that scarf belonging to Kingdom Le'tam?" I asked myself. Does this kind of thing really exist in the old town? Hmmm...

"Good morning, Erika. I didn't know you came here very early." Kieran ventured in from the back door. I looked at him and he saw the drawing from my notebook.

"If I'm not mistaken, that's the symbol for Kingdom Le'tam. The circle symbolizes the country and the butterfly resembles the ruler who is soft, colorful and peaceful. The bird above resembles freedom." He said while tracing the symbol by its fingers.

"Do you mind if I asked you, where can I buy some clothes or scarf that has this symbol?" I asked him.

He looked at me and touched my hair and he smiled. Why is he so handsome?

"That symbol was only worn by the kind or any royal family." He said and tap my head. I smiles at him and asked why yet he doesn't know the answer.
