Backstory

I'll be telling our story since Kyoto isn't good at stuff like this.

About, 18 to 19 years ago, our mother was shunned away from her entire family. Why?

Our mother was born into a wealthy, prestigious family. Her mother and father both had groundbreaking quirks. When our grandmother was pregnant with her, everyone had high expectations.

They were shot down in an instant. A big problem came: she was Quirkless. No powers, no abilities, no nothing.

For this, everyone in our family, and the town thought she was a freak. A mistake. Everyone before her had all powerful quirks and god like powers. But not her.

When she matured and became 18, our grandparents finally had enough of the humiliation, and disowned her from the family. Kicked her out, made her homeless.

After living a life of complete luxury, she was thrown out into the streets. The quickest way to make money? Prostitution.

She slept with almost every married man in the town to slide some money her way.

After a year of this business, a fateful night happened. She slept with a powerful old family friend, and, the same night, she slept with another powerful ally of her old family. Both men had extremely powerful quirks, and both were married.

A month and a half later, she was revealed to be pregnant. Not knowing who the father was, of course. Months go by, the whole town learns of the pregnancy. Her family, nor any of the men she provided services to, offered to financially support the child.

It was because of this, she stopped receiving clients. The men of the town didn't want to end up with a scandal brat they didn't want.

Living off of corner store food, hotel rooms, and no friends nor family, she was able to deliver the child, or, children.

She was gifted the lives of two baby girls, of whom were immediately given a target on their backs.

This was because of their hair color. One had curly black hair, and the other had greyish white. This gave the people of the town immediate recognition of who the fathers were.

Enemies began on the hunt for the twins. This increased indefinitely, for news that the children's quirks were activated at 2 years old, instead of the average 4 years old.

On an eventful day, a deadly electrical twister struck the town. Destroyed half of it. On that day, the mother took both of the children away to another city.

In that other city, the mother got a proper job, gained more money, got a nice house, and the girls started getting a proper education.

They started living good lives. Peaceful lives. For only a good 8 years.

On the way home from work, the mother walked down a dark alley, only to be captured by a villain from her hometown.

A bounty is on her head for permanently staining her family's name, and so..she was tortured in the alley, until the #1 hero, All Might, defeated the villain, and took the mother to the hospital.

When the young twins were told of the mother's incident, their powers went out of control, and they completely wrecked their entire house, only from crying out for their mother to come and wake them up from this nightmare.

The mother had to have immediate medical treatment and surgery. Her injuries made her completely dependent on life support, which All Might was generous enough to give to her, that should last for a couple years.

As for the 12 year old twins. Despite how young they were, they managed just fine on their own in a new little house given to them by the government.

For the next 2 years, the twins had to live on their own, teach themselves how to properly work their quirks, and only used the learning books their mother had in their previous home to get their education. During which, the mother slipped in and out of consciousness every couple months.

After those 2 years, at the age of 14, the twins had to come home, once again, to the bad news about their mother. This time, she was dead. One morning, when one of nurses came to check on her, they found her life support turned off.

The twins wanted to feel sad, angry, something. But, at that point, the twins had already accepted the fact that their mother was going to die. Even if they didn't know it. It was only inevitable.

After that, the government let them stay in their little house, but had them enrolled in middle school, since they were both aspiring to be heroes.

After another 2 years, the twins were finishing up high school, and they needed to enroll in a hero school that would ensure they would be effective heroes.

This lead to that eventful weekday right after school...
