-Louis' Point of view-

The neon lights of the advertisements from the glorious and majestic billboards set ablaze the heart of Manhattan, Times square. The shimmering sky scrapers stand next to each other and it feels like they might reach the moon.

"He was like the most arrogant person I have ever met. Goodwill kid? Like what even is wrong with you? It's 2020 and you are still judging people."

I babbled about my encounter with certain curly head, taking an ice cream from Kaara's hand as Jacob paid for the three of us.

We had dinner at a nearby place after the concert and then roamed around the streets of New York City as we licked our favourite ice creams.

"Was he hot?" Kaara asked not giving a shit about what I said.

"Seriously? What's wrong with this world?" I gave her a look and looked up at the sky as if I expected God to give me the answer.

"Oh c'mon stop it with the suspense and tell us already." Jacob said and rolled his eyes.

I looked back at Kaara and Jacob who were waiting curiously for the answer as if I am a star of some romcom movie. I nodded my head in defeat and put my hands up in surrender.

Dark brown hair
Tanned skin
Green eyes
An incredible jawline.

Yep definitely hot.

"Gosh! Kaara you have a boyfriend who is right next to you." I said as I saw her having a giddy smile.

Jacob licked his already melting ice cream while looking at me with a side eye. He ruffled my light brown hair, messing them completely.

"The main takeaway from this incident is that he called you a pretty face? I hope he goes for an eye check-up soon."

Siblings I tell you.

"You are so predictable, Jacob." He just shrugged his shoulders.

"Stop it both of you! Jacob, it's his last night with us for a while, be nice" Kaara's motherly voice interrupted.

She was currently walking in between us. Her dark skin glowed under the city light making her look more attractive.

Kaara is my best friend. She lived right next door to me and we practically grew up together. She's the same age as me and we practically were joined to the hip especially at school. She was the very few people including Jacob and my other sibling Jessica I trusted to come out to as bisexual at 14 and she was the one who supported me when I came out to my family during Thanksgiving dinner at 16.

Also, she is dating my brother for the past 3 months.

You didn't see it coming right?

Oh also, they both go to the same university in Texas.

Kaara is ahead of me because I took a one-year gap to figure out what I wanted to do with my life and cope with things that happened when we were in high school.

"Finally! I won't have anyone stealing my things and annoy me when I am at home now." Jacob stuck his tongue out like a child.

"How do you even deal with him? He is so childish." I asked Kaara, completely ignoring Jacob.

"You gave us the permission to date after all. You could have saved me from his childish behaviour." I laughed out at her response.

It was actually pretty stupid of them to think I would try and stop them from dating. I knew something was odd between them when they visited home during the holidays. I have no idea how they managed to date since Jacob is doing his graduation in MBA and Kaara is doing her bachelor's in Engineering. That girl just loves coding.
