I came from work late at night i was heading to the bus station. I walked by this house that had a dog that would always bark at me, but tonight it just stared. It watch me walk by and i heard a strange sound..."tikwi"

I heard of the tikwi also known as a wak wak or aswag

It separates its lower half of its body, half of its body would wander around at night in search of any living soul and to rip out their hearts out and feast on them.

And when you hear their call you know their hungry.

I continued to walk to the bus station and i could still faintly hear hear the sound of the tikwi.II saw there was a security booth, i didnt want to wait at the station alone so i slipped inside the booth and waited silently next to  the guard. I wasnt sure if i was imagining the sound, but the look on the guards face said otherwise, im pretty sure he heard it too.

So we both sat their motionless.

Finally the bus arrived and i ran to the bus and got on it and rode all the way home, the sounds of the tikwi growing fainter and fainter.

The next day i told my co workers what i heard, one of them said tikwis' are major tricksters the fainter they sound the closer they actually are.
