Two months back

"Baby, wake up." I heard Chris's voice hauling me out of my once peaceful slumber.

"Come on, we're gonna be late." He added when he saw me making no movement and I groaned at him. "Five minutes."

"That's what you said twenty minutes ago." Right now I hated whoever came up with this insanely idea of opening a school. I finally opened my eyes and Chris hunched forward to place a soft kiss on my cheek. "I've already turned on the water for you."

I was still drowsy but when I attempted to sit up, my eyes shot open. I felt an unusual burning pain inside my back passage. It was a foreign feeling to me and Chris looked at me worriedly when I winced.

"Are you okay? What's wrong?" He gazed at me with stressed and caring eyes. "I don't know. I have this terrible pain on my lower abdomen." He smiled faintly before spitting. "Did I do you too hard last night?" I rolled my eyes at him. "Shut up! I'm being serious here."

"Come, you'll feel better after taking a bath." He said stripping off the duvet and picked me up in bridal style.

I was truly not kidding. The pain felt like someone poured acid inside of me. "Do you want me to take you to the doctor?"

"You can't miss school. You have a big game today, remember?" He gave me an innocent smirk. "A game can wait. I need to make sure you're okay first." Honestly, what did I do to deserve this man?

After taking a nice soothing bath, Chris helped me dress up then insisted on carrying me to the car.

Dr Pittaway was both our families' doctor. I was personally close with him in light of the fact that he was my brother-in-law.

"Michael? Christian? Aw what brings you two here?" I hated drawing unnecessary attention so I refused to let Chris carry me inside the hospital. I had to endure that aching pain even if it got worse when I moved. The moment we got inside Rylan's office, I immediately laid on the bed and luckily, he was free.

"Brother, I'm dying." I said while faking a cry. He looked at Chris thoroughly overlooking my existence. "What in the mother nature is wrong with him?" Christian shrugged.

"Bro, I'm really serious. I'm dying." He put his hand on my forehead. "You're burning up."

"Sadly, that's not the only place burning up." I winced when I felt another wave of pain swimming on my insides. Rylan began taking a gander at me with worried eyes, seeing that I wasn't joking.

"Hey, what's wrong? What happened to you? Where's the pain?" I was lying on my stomach so I just pointed at my butt. He looked at Chris, then back at me and exclaimed. "Aah I get it. Tell me what happened. Did you bleed?"

"What? No. I just have this unbearable pain inside of me, that's all." He took off his stethoscope. "Sit up for me." "I can't sit, it hurts."

"Take these for now." He handed me two pills and a glass of water. I guess those were painkillers because I felt the pain slowly fading away but not completely.

After a thousand questions, he finally decided to draw my blood and do a blood test and we had to wait for about twenty minutes or so.

"Okay. I have your results. With how you described the pain, I already knew what was wrong, however I needed to make sure first. Well, turns out you're regrettably suffering from Chlamydia."

"Chla... What the hell is that?"

"It's a type of a sexually transmitted disease. For women, this type of STD can cause infertility so I don't know if I should say you're lucky that you're a male or what."
