"Ouch! What the heck?" I cried out when someone bumped into me and spilt a cold drink all over my shirt.

"Ahh not again." He said annoyed.

"Excuse me?"

He took out a handkerchief and handed it to me. "This is my second drink today and now my second time spilling it at someone."

I looked up at him. He had black hair, sparkling brown eyes, an African heritage that showed in his features and a perfectly symmetrical face. As I studied his face, I looked back at his eyes. I could say that he was also studying mine and he looked more mesmerized than I was. Well, I don't blame him and not to sound too cocky but I know I was very beautiful. My parent's genes were no joke.

He opened his mouth again. "I'm really sorry."

"It's fine." I said as I continued wiping my shirt. He then took off his jacket and handed it out.

"What?"

"It's cold outside and your shirt is wet."

I was not going to play the 'no, I'm okay' card because I was already getting cold. "Thanks." I took the jacket.

"Elio."

I looked at him confused and he let out a soft chuckle when he saw my baffled face. "My name is Elio."

"Oh?" I face palmed in my mind. "I'm Michael but you can call me Mike."

"Nice to know you, Mike." He smiled while looking at his watch. "And now that's my cue, I have a class to attend. Again, I'm sorry about your shirt."

"Wait- How are you going to get your jacket back?"

He rubbed his nape while smiling childishly. "Well... maybe you could just give me your number."

I put out my hand. "Phone?"

I handed it back after punching my digits. Two seconds later, my phone rang. "That was me. Just call or text me when you wanna meet."

I nodded. "See ya." He said before dashing out.

I wore a vest under the shirt so I just took it off and wore the jacket. His powerful-smelling vetiver scent was all over it and I wasn't complaining because it was such a pleasant and refreshing smell.

"Whaaaa!" I jumped and turned around only to see Ken grinning stupidly next to Lucas. "Do that again and tomorrow we'll be mourning your ass."

"Calm down Hulk."

"Why are you stripping in the middle of the hallway?" Lucas asked me with curious eyes.

"Someone spilt a drink on me."

"The last time I checked, the restrooms existed." Said the brat Ken. "You're talking as if I stripped naked." I spit.

Ken and Lucas were my best friends since kindergarten. It's crazy how far we've come regardless of our differences. Lucas's father was a priest so his whole family were Christians. When Ken and I came out, it took them a while to acknowledge. Well, in the end they had no choice but to accept us because Lucas stood by our side, thankfully.
