"Please say something." He was still lying in the same position he was in when I found him. After a while of talking to myself, Chris finally moved. He opened his locker and took out his bag pack.

"What you saw, it's-it's not what you think. I had something on my lips and Elio was helping me wipe it off. We were not by any means going to kiss." I don't know why but it felt necessary to explain it to him.

"I can't take you home. Can you ask Alex to give you a li... Ah sorry, I forgot you came here with someone." His eyes were wondering everywhere around the room except me. Changing the topic or just simply ignoring whatever I say, that was Chris for you when he didn't wanna talk about something.

"The game is not even over yet. Why are you leaving?"

"I just... don't feel good."

"If you don't feel well then you can't drive. At least let me take you to Rylan so he could check up on you."

"It's nothing serious Mike. I'm sure it'll go away before I even get home." I was probably one of the few people who were able to read Chris like an open book. And right now he was trying all his best to stay calm. His voice was literally shaking at first but he managed to suppress whatever emotions he had inside of him.

In arguments either with me or anybody, Chris would let you win even if his point is more valid than yours. He'd do that simply to avoid squabbling. People usually confused his calmness and chilliness with being shy and quiet. Christian was far from that, he just didn't like to talk with people who were not in his little circle of friends. Well, I don't blame him because many people did not understand him at all. Even for me, it took him more than a year to get out of his shell and be open about everything.

"I'm just worried about you. Rylan told me you didn't show up for all of your check ups the whole past two months. How are you even going to know if the STD is out of your system or not?" My voice remained calm but frustration could still be detected.

"I've been seeing another doctor. I'm fine now. The doctor said so himself." I sighed loudly at his response and I was about to say something when the door flung open. One of his teammates who was on the bench got in.

At the end of the day, I found myself alone in their changing room. Chris left. His teammate also left. I don't have the foggiest idea why I was still standing in the middle of that dark room alone.

Sometimes I wonder if I have a loose screw or what. Last night the game ended a few minutes after Chris left and I asked Alex to give me a ride home, totally forgetting about Elio. My phone had ran out of battery and my ass didn't even bother charging it when I got home. I only remembered everything when I woke up the following morning. Since my phone was on voicemail, Elio had left me tens of messages.
