o n e 🙄 : opinion on rookie groups

i don't get why so many people are obsessed with rookie groups..

hear me out luvs. let's take TXT for example, and like i said HEAR ME OUT. it's not like i think TXT is overrated or anything, well- maybe a tad but listen. I just don't really get the hype with them. their music just sounds kind of meh to me, and that's just my opinion. their debut song didn't really live up to the hype that it was expected to be in my opinion, and i think that people just stan rookie groups because it's starting to be a "trend" or whatever. but I will say that TXT is better than some other rookie group I guess, but they definitely don't compare to any big group, at least not yet at least because maybe in the future my opinion on them will change but as of right now i don't stan them, and don't really care for their music. i think that TXT definitely would not be as popular now if they weren't signed to BigHit (the company BTS is signed to). im not trying to bash TXT in any way, I just don't think they live up to the hype that people are giving to them as of right now. that might just be me considering it's very hard for me to start stanning a group, considering i dont stan that many groups. i also feel like some people stan rookie group just so they can say that they've been here from the start which is kind of pointless.. because i've stanned BTS or in other words, i've been an ARMY since may 29th 2013 when  their debut trailer came out, so i've been an army since before they even debuted but i don't go around saying that all the time just to say i've been with them from the start. the time frame that you started stanning a group doesn't make you any more or less of a fan, it's just people like me that have just been around longer, but that doesn't mean we're exactly better than the fans that have gotten here later.

so yea, pls don't hate me for this opinion, but i just thought it had to be said.
