Chapter 2

Sam's POV

Ashley is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen not to mention she has great taste in movies

"So what's Stoney-brook like compared to England"I ask her

"Well I've only been to your house and the supermarket so I can't really tell"she says half looking at me and half watching the movie

"The supermarket?" I ask confused

"Oh sorry the grocery store I forgot that's what we call it in England" she laughs now looking at me

"I quite like that name actually, but maybe if you want I could show you around after school, but if you don't want to that's fine" I stutter

"I'd love that thank you"she she says smiling at me brightly

"Cool, I can't wait"

"So.." she starts to say getting cut off by my mom

"Dinners ready you guys". Geez mom way to ruin the mood

"Good I'm starving" I say instead

"Me too" she gets up and we walk to the dining room where everyone is already there

Ashley's POV

"So Ashley I've heard you a huge marvel fan"Watson asked me after we finished eating

"Yes I love it" I replied

"Me too (idk he probably isn't it
doesn't say) whose you favourite character?" He asked

"Well I've got a few"

"Go for it"

"Okay Natasha Romanoff , Wanda Maximoff, Bucky Barnes , Sam Wilson, Peter Parker and Loki Laufeyson (I'm sorry if you don't like them these are my personal faves even tho I love most of them)"

"Ooh good choices your least?"

"Okay umm Carol Danvers (captain marvel), Sharon Carter and Clint Barton (Hawkeye) but not so much Clint I won't go into detail or I'll be talking for hours"

"Yes one of your favourites is named after me!" Same said excitedly

"I hate to brake it to you but the character Sam Wilson was created before you were born" I said laughing at his cute comment

"Oh it was worth a shot anyways" we both started laughing so hard

"I'm sorry to kill the mood but we should probably go back as we still have a bit of unpacking to do before Ashley starts school thank you so much for dinner it was lovely" my dad said

"Oh hey Ashley would you like a lift to school tomorrow Charlie drives us" Sam said as we were outside

"Thank you so much but as long as Charlie doesn't mind" I say

"You British are so polite and he won't mind"

"Oh would I be able to get your number" I ask slightly nervously
