(Gerard's P.O.V)
I wake up to the highlighted sound of Mikey stomping down the stairs to my basement bedroom. He always knows how to piss me off. "Mikey fucking Way, could you actually be any fu-"
"Coffee?" And there in his hands stood the Gods drink that is coffee. What can I say, my brother knows me too well. "Thanks Mikes" I say gratefully as the steaming drink touches my awaiting lips, the taste only magnifying when I close my eyes. Honestly me and coffee has such a living relationship that no one can deny.
When I reopen my eyes I see that my younger brother is still stood with his awkward knees and an expression that shows how nervous he really is. "What is it Mikey?" I ask. My question only seems to enhance his nervousness as he glares around my room at the many drawings. Scattered like idle thoughts on paper. "C'mon Mikey what's the worst that you could say?" After a few moments of silence and an intense staring match with my latest drawing, which was if the small fabulous package if Frank Iero, the question is asked.
"Yesterday, that thing with you and Frank. It was strange. Even for you Gerard. You um, the way you looked at him... You like him don't you?" For a moment I was careful as to what to say to such an undeniably true statement , but then my heart skips a much needed beat and the answer is soon spilled.
" What can I say Mikes? The world is ugly, but he's beautiful to me. He's the only hope for me to love someone" For a moment Mikey looks unable to form any coherent sentence. Then he turns to me with a hard stare. "He doesn't need to deal with anymore shit okay, so don't fuck him over Gerard" and with that he turns to walk away.
A smirk forms on my face, "I won't fuck him over but I will fuck him." Mikey just carries on walking up the stairs and closes the door, his laughter vibrating off of the walls scaring the shit out of me. Fucking teenage brother, scares the shit outa me.
