A/N: In this chapter, we will see Phineas and Baljeet learn how to be a 'gentleman' in preparation of their double date. This is like a side story to the actual plot, and Phineas/the gang(minus Isabella) are side characters in this story(kinda ironic I know). Don't worry though; this will be a big piece later on ;) Enough from me, let's see how the boys do! :D

(No One's POV, later that night)

"Ferb, are you sure that's how it's done?" his step-brother asks him. "Yeah, what makes you a love expert?" questioned Baljeet. Ferb holds his hand up, quieting the two boys. He looks at the two boys and quietly says "I just happened to get myself a date, and without complaining like you two."

Both the boys look at him, bewildered that Ferb, the quietest guy on Earth, got a date. "Now if you're done complaining, let's get started," Ferb says in his serious tone.

(Phineas' POV)

"Now Phineas, let's start with you. Isabella is a sweet and caring person, however, she can unleash her anger if someone she knows gets threatened. Now what I want you to do is imagine I'm Isabella," Ferb clears his throat. "Help me! This guy keeps hitting on me!" Ferb says in a really surprising high pitched voice. I looked at him, but I played along.

"Don't worry Isabella I will save you!" I declared as I jumped in front of Ferb. "If you want her, you have to get through me," I firmly stated, pretending someone was actually there. "Very good Phineas. Now let's move on to the characteristics of being a gentleman. First, a gentleman should always hold the door for a girl/lady. Second, when going to a restaurant, the man always pulls the chair up for the lady. And lastly, the man always pays for the dinner, unless the female offers to pay some of it. Got it?" Ferb finishes as I nod.

"Good, now let's see how you do. Buford fetch the table and chairs; you can be our waiter," he tells Buford, who leaves the room. Ferb turns towards me, and adds "don't worry, you'll be fine. Same goes for you too Baljeet."

Buford comes in with a table and two chairs. "How did you fit that through that doorway?" Baljeet asks, amazed. "Easy I used magic, and a little of my brain," Buford adds sarcastically.

He sets down the table, the chairs, and leaves the room to get acquainted. "Now Phineas, let's leave the room, and I want you to show me what you managed to learn," Ferb says, taking my arm. Buford goes into our room as we were leaving, all suited up.

"What a lovely restaurant, want to go in?" Ferb says, using his high pitched voice again.  "Sure. Ladies first," I pretended there was a door there and opened it, letting Ferb go in first.

"Thank you Phineas," Ferb says, as we walk to the table. I go over to the chair, pulling it out for Ferb. He thanks me and Buford comes in, acting as our waiter. We pretend to order our meal, eat it, and Buford comes over, handing me a check.

"Don't worry, I got it Isabella," I said, holding up my hand to Ferb. "Well done Phineas, you passed. Baljeet, did you take any notes?" Ferb says, turning towards Baljeet.

Baljeet nods, only to show Ferb about 3 pages worth of note taking. "Good grief, did you seriously write down every little detail?!" Buford scoffs. "Yeah I did. I need to make this as perfect as possible," Baljeet counteracts.

"Well, I think you two are ready. It's getting late, and we got a long day tomorrow," Ferb says as he helps Buford put the table and chairs up. "Yeah, we do need to go. C'mon Buford," Baljeet says as he grabs his arm. We wave them bye, and head upstairs for bed.

(Isabella's POV, later that night)

As I was going to bed, I felt calm and excited. However, I got a weird feeling in my stomach. I knew I had to do something: call Phineas. I reached for the phone, and called Phineas. "Hello? Isabella?" I hear his voice crack. "Yeah. I couldn't sleep, and I wanted to call and ask you something if that's ok?" I asked him innocently.

"Yeah, I had something to bring up myself. You go first," he insisted. "Well, I've been having this uneasiness, and I wanted to make sure you're ok. I don't want anything to happen to you," I felt my voice cracking, all while trying not to cry. "Oh Isabella, nothing is going to happen to me, I promise." I smile, knowing he meant every word.

"Well, what about you? What's up?" I asked him. "Well, you see I had this idea with.. idk.. me and you going out to eat tomorrow?" I knew he was nervous, but I know how he felt. "Well, the Fireside Girls and I are going to finish the decorations tomorrow, but after that, sure why not!" I excitedly say. I was dying on the inside, knowing he FINALLY asked ME out! "Ok, great!" he says.

"Well, I think I should be going to bed now, have to be up early," I tell him. "Thanks for the talk Isabella! See you tomorrow!" he says as we both hang up. I fall back on my bed, knowing that I just got the sweetest, kindest guy, and that I was his lucky, sweet, and caring girl. I get under the covers, knowing nothing will tear us apart.

A/N: This chapter is a little shorter(I usually aim for about 1k words), but it was kind of a side plot building up to the main. Hope y'all liked the little foreshadowing at the end of the chapter!

Anyways, the next chapter, things will start to heat up, so be on the lookout. I have an off day(minus a quiz) from classes tomorrow, so I might be able to cram 2 chapters in, depending on how much hw I got(eyeroll.) Till next time, ciao! :D
