"aera can I spend the night?"

Jungguk didn't want to go back to the wretched place he used to call home, he wanted to escape from his daily routine and spend time with a special friend he hadn't seen in years because of his personal and business life...

"sure, you can." aera spoke

Jungguk sighed in relief but yet again why would she say no to him?

Jungguk smiled at aera and she smiled back, she always had the most cutest smile he had ever seen. Her smile could light up the darkest rooms, her smile was like fireflies in the nighttime, he was glad to have her by his side, but he wasn't sure if he could tell her how he was currently feeling these past few months, so he decided to do something the past time before he could tell her.

"aera?" Jungguk questioned

"yeah ggukie" she responded

"do you want to go stargazing?" jungguk asked

"sure, i'm so excited to show you my favorite stars!" she exclaimed happily while jumping

jungguk smiled and grabbed both of their coats and headed outside to the backyard.

time skip...

Jungguk and aera are sitting there laying on the grass and looking at the night sky while talking.

"What's the best thing about being an idol?" Aera says chuckling

"Nothing really you have to follow a certain schedule and you have to worry about your safety more than the average person and it gets really fucking annoying and sometimes I wanna quit" Jungguk ranted

"But why don't you?" Aera asks him

"It's my calling ra-ra, we all want to do what we love and when we do it we get tired of it but never stop doing it" Jungguk explains while smiling at her

Aera was always a pretty girl but tonight to Jungguk she was a little bit too beautiful to him right now.

"Aera, do you know that you're very very beautiful?" He asked her in a heartfelt voice

"Gosh, I've never really thought about my looks that much...thanks guk you're very handsome as well" She says while blushing

"I know I'm handsome" He says

Aera scoffs and rolls over to hug him

And at that moment Jungguk finally felt peace as he closed his eyes and slowly drifted to sleep with aera right next to him.
