Pretty Poison

Chapter 2

Both Starscream and Ratchet could tell Knock Out was scared and felt concerned for him. Ratchet called the police and reported the vandalism while Starscream tried to comfort his friend.

They noticed that the blue writing on the wall looked unnervingly like spilled energon. But upon testing it they were all relieved to learn it was only paint. But who ever did it had deliberately chosen that color to send a message.

This was definitely a threat aimed at the red medic.

Just then Ratchet got back with a grave look on his faceplates.

"What is it?" Asked Starscream.

"I just spoke to Prowl who told me he had been just about to call us when I called him." Ratchet explained.

"He wanted to warn us to be on the look out because they don't know how it happened but a patient escaped from the psychiatric hospital in Kaon last night." He finished. "It was Road Siren."

Knock Out looked like he was going to be sick. "I knew it was her." He said. And both Starscream and Ratchet could hear the fear in his voice.

"Don't worry I called the others and everyone has agreed to keep an eye out for her. We won't let her get anywhere near you." Ratchet tried to reassure him.

"No don't worry about me all of you just focus on staying safe because she's gonna go after anyone she think she can use to get at me." Knock Out told them. "Your all in danger now because of me."

Poor Knock Out couldn't stop thinking back to his nightmare and how much he didn't want it to come true.

"We'll be fine Knock Out your the one she's going to be after." Starscream told his friend. "And if anything does happen it will be on her not you."

And they both promised Knock Out that they would be careful and tell everyone else to do the same.

Later Knock Out was talking to Starscream when Smokescreen came in. And they noticed he was leaking energon.

"What happened?" Asked Knock Out who started treating the injury which was a stab wound in Smokescreen's shoulder.

"Your psycho X-girlfriend." Smokescreen explained reluctantly not really wanting to tell Knock Out knowing it would frighten him. "She somehow got into my berthroom and stabbed my when I was just coming out of recharge."

"It hurts like crazy and by the time I was able to get up she had already gotten away." He finished.

Knock Out wasn't happy if the stab had been any lower it would have gotten Smokescreen's spark chamber. He didn't say anything but he secretly blamed himself for the race car's injury. Smokescreen was lucky to be alive right now.

Smokescreen thanked Knock Out for treating him and went down the hallway to talk to Ratchet and Arcee who had just gotten there after hearing that Smokescreen had been stabbed she wanted to make sure he was OK.

Knock Out decided to clock out for the day feeling on edge that Road Siren would show up and attack him or one of his friends.

A few minutes later Starscream was walking down the hallway when he got a call on his com-link.

"Yes?" He answered.

"Starscream I need to talk this is really getting out of hand I'm terrified of what Road Siren might do next and I need a friend to talk too." Knock Out's voice came over the com-link.

"Sure I'll be right there." Starscream told him before heading to where the red medic said he was.

Starscream walked to the staircase and on his way to meet Knock Out at the bottom of the stairs.

When the seeker was suddenly hit from behind and ended up falling down the stairs where he hit his helm hard on part of the railing. And was rendered unconscious.

Meanwhile Knock Out had gone home and was trying to get his mind off things by watching a movie when he got a call on his com-link. It was Starscream and the seeker sounded frantic and really out of it as if not thinking clearly.

"What is it what happened Starscream?" Knock Out asked his friend.

"She attacked me I thought you asked me to meet you at the bottom of the stair case in the hospital and someone hit me!" Starscream explained sounding like he was having a panic attack.

"Are you OK?!" Knock Out asked now feeling concerned for his best friend. He could tell by the seeker's voice that he'd been hurt. "Where are you?!"

"I think I'm in an alley somewhere in Kaon my helm won't stop bleeding and I'm tired." Starscream said his voice sounding slurred.

"Scream it's important you stay alert do you hear me it sound like you've suffered a serious helm injury so I need you to stay awake till I get there to treat it!" Knock Out told the seeker.

"OK I'll try please hurry." Starscream said before they got cut off.

Knock Out knew he didn't have a second to lose so he rushed out the door and change into his alt mode and starting driving as quickly but safely as he could wanting to help his friend.

But suddenly another vehicle mode slammed into his in such a way that it caused him to flip over Knock Out saw that he was now halfway over a cliff then the other car started ramming him as if trying to send him over it.

Then Knock Out recognized who it was upon looking through his rearview mirror just in time for Road Siren to ram him off the cliff.

And poor Knock Out was helpless to stop her and the next thing he knew was rolling down the side of the cliff and then he slammed into the bottom so hard that it forced him to transform.

Knock Out just laid there a minute before attempting to push himself up using his servos. But ended up slumping back to the ground and losing consciousness.

Then Road Siren who had just climbed down walked over to the downed mech and tapped him with her ped to make sure he was out.

Knock Out stirred a little but didn't respond. Then Road Siren gave him a circuit booster but Knock Out only grunted a bit upon feeling the needle go in he was already unconscious but Road Siren went ahead and gave him something to make sure he stayed that way for awhile.

"Don't worry Knock Out I'm gonna take good care of you." She said while stroking his helm. "And your never getting away from me again."

Then she half dragged half carried the injured medic off somewhere. Planning to make him pay for her imprisonment and escaping from her the last time having developed an obsession for the red medic.

And she had plans for him.

Hope this chapter turned out OK. I'm trying to get this story out of my system so I can focus on the others I'm trying to write. Because the plot bunnies won't leave me alone. I'll try to update soon in the meantime feel free to send feedback.
