Pretty Poison

Chapter 6

Starscream painfully regained consciousness awhile later he quickly remembered what happened and tried to get up only to fall back down.

He put one of his servos on his chestplates where he felt pain and when he looked at his hand he found it covered with energon. That he realized he was losing rapidly. And he was also bleeding it from where Road Siren hit him.

He needed to get help or he would bleed out. So the next thing he did was try to use his com-link.

"This is Starscream I need an emergency ground bridge to the hospital!" He said over his com-link only to be meet with static.

Then he realized Road Siren had tempered with and damaged his com-link while he was out before dumping him there.

Starscream started trying to force himself to stand knowing he would die if he stayed there and remained untreated. But he just kept falling back to the ground.

Then he tried to crawl but found it too painful. So ended up just having to lay there. He was about to give up when he got an idea he fired his missiles up into the air hoping to signal for help.

But he didn't expect it to attract Predaking the predacon landed still in his beast mode and he didn't look happy. Starscream was to weak to run or even try to crawl away.

He knew Predaking was angry at him and wanted revenge for what happened to Darksteel and Skylenx. Starscream started to say something wanting to apologize for his treatment of the predacon in the past and for what happened to the other two.

But he was cut off by Predaking's tail hitting him. Starscream was still conscious but in a serious amount of pain and it hadn't helped that he had already been injured before Predaking hit him.

And now the predacon was coming his way again and the seeker could tell he was charging up his flames. This was it for him.

But suddenly Predaking was shot by something from behind and he turn and fired his flame at whatever shot him. Poor Starscream could still only lay there dazed and badly wounded.

But he recognized who Predaking was fighting. It was Megatron.

"Predaking stop this Starscream has joined the Autobots now." Megatron told the predacon. "Ratchet told me he did and has changed for the better."

Then Predaking transformed to his bot mode. "That dose not make up for him killing my brethren!" Predaking hissed. "And I hate you just as much as I do him."

"Do you not want to prove to the rest of Cybertron that your kind is more then just beast?" Megatron asked him. "Don't you want to show them your race has honor?"

"Your one to speak of honor do you not remember wiping out my fellow predacons on Earth or having your seeker shoot me in the back instead of facing me fairly?" Predaking asked. "Did all gladiators relay on such tactics to win?" "Where was the honor in any of that?"

"There was none." Megatron replied. "Just like there is none in killing an already wounded opponent."

This cought Predaking off guard.

"And from what I understand when Starscream lead Darksteel and Skylenx to their demise they were chasing him in an attempt to kill him." Megatron continued. "Why were you not with them?"

Predaking had no answer.

"We've both been dishonorable." Megatron added. "If you aloud Starscream to live I'll take full responsibility for his past actions."

"Or you can kill both of us but you'll be killing a bot who has changed for the better during peace times your a beast but you aren't a monster unless you choose to be one." Megatron finished. "I only ask that you don't because what I was. I've leaned that hate and revenge do not solve anything."

"Very well." Predaking said before he transformed and flew off.

Then Megatron went to check on Starscream. The seeker was still conscious but Megatron could tell he was badly hurt.

Starscream flitch upon seeing the old warlord approach him out of force of habit remembering the beatings he had received from him in the past. But reminded himself that Megatron was helping him this time. And wasn't there to harm him.

Megatron saw that Starscream's wings were down but suddenly relax as did the seeker's expression.

"I'm sorry for everything I did to you in the past." Megatron apologized knowing the seeker had every right to fear and hate him after all he had done to him.

"It's OK I didn't some pretty messed up stuff too." Starscream said accepting the apology.

"Thanks for saving me from Predatron Megaking." Starscream added and Megatron noticed the seekers optics kept rolling to the back of his helm. Predaking really had knocked him for a loop. And both his other injuries were still leaking energon.

"Yeah I better get you to a hospital." Megatron said to the seeker with real concern in his voice. "He really hit you hard."

"Not as hard as you." Starscream told him giving a thumbs up.

"Rember that time when you asked me if I was lying or if I was stupid and I said I'm stupid I'm stupid!" "There was a method to my madness."

"Since we're buds now maybe after you get Ratchet to fix me we can go flying?" Starscream added being awake but completely out of it.

"I think you already are." Megatron told the seeker as he carried him to the hospital.

When Megatron got Starscream to the hospital everyone kept asking the former leader of the Decepticons what he did to him.

"It wasn't him this time!" Starscream said in a sing song voice. Still acting out of it from the hit he received from Predaking.

Ratchet wasted no time fixing his damage and a while later reported that Starscream had a close call but would be fine since Megatron had gotten him there when he did. And the seeker was told to take it easy for awhile.

Which Starscream didn't object too his helm was sore from being hit so much. And the seeker explained to them what happened to him.

"Knock Out attacked you?" Asked Bulkhead sounding shocked.

"It wasn't his fault Road Siren blinded him and she's been using her voice and sound powers to fool him." Starscream explained. "He thought I was her."

"So she probably blinded him just to make it impossible for him to tell friend from foe." Arcee cut in.

"This also makes rescuing him more dangerous." Ratchet pointed out. "If his saw would have sliced even an inch deeper it would have killed you." He told Starscream.

"Not a word about that to him." Starscream said knowing Knock Out would probably blame and never forgive himself if the red medic knew he had almost killed one of his friends even if it hadn't been intentional.

"We need to get him out of there he's injured and the things she's doing to him." Starscream added and they could all here how concerned and worried he was for his friend.

"Don't worry we're going to go get him out of there and make her pay for what she's done." Arcee promised.

Hope this chapter turned out OK. The next one will get back to Knock Out I just wanted to give Starscream a chapter and this was really more of a filler. I'll try to get the next chapter up soon in the meantime feel free to send feedback.
