By the time castiel and dean reached the field dean was near whining

"we're here dumbass," castiel groaned putting baby in park

Dean smiled and got out of the car he took off his shirt and shot up into the sky, he did flips and dives and all other sorts of stuff, castiel got into the back seat and grabbed a beer, he got on the hood of baby and watched dean

He looks so free, so happy castiel smiled he wished he had felt like that, but he couldn't, he wouldn't let himself he had to stop these evil creatures so that other people could feel like this.

It was a couple of minutes and dean had a brilliant idea he dove down heading toward castiel

"dean-," castiel said warningly

But dean didn't hear and scooped castiel up and flew into the sky

"DEAN PUT ME DOWN YOU ASS," castiel screamed hiding his head in deans neck

"cas you really like I'll drop you?" dean laughed "well I can," dean let go of cas. Cas plummeted to the ground.

He quickly dove after cas and caught him "but I'll always catch you,"

"d-d-dean put me down please," castiel begged shaking

"c-cas are you scared of heights?" dean asked slightly amused

"dean this isn't funny, why do you think I drive everywhere?" castiel said

He was shaking like a leaf

"cas just have a look, it's beautiful trust me," dean awed

"you drop me again I'll just leave you okay," castiel threatened

"fine," Dean smiled

Castel slowly lifted his head and looked how high they were,

"dean," castiel whispered panicked

"cas I promise you I won't let you fall," Dean whispered kissing the top of cas's head

"o-okay," castiel said not really trusting him

Castiel looked at the sky it was a beautiful the array of blues and greens mixed so well

"you know my brother Michael made those tree right there," Dean said pointing to a bunch of trees near the edge of the forest

"o-oh," castiel smiled why did dean trust him so much they stayed there for another couple of minutes before castiel spoke up

"hey dean can we go back home, it's getting kinds late," castiel said looking at the sun

"oh yeah sure," Dean said, "get ready," he added

"wait for wha-" castiel got cut off by dean diving down making castiel latch onto dean as his life depended on it

Cas almost let tears fall but he couldn't not Infront of dean, not anywhere, they landed gently and when dean let go of castiel he crashed to the ground breathing heavy

"g-get away from me dean I don't want you to see me-," cas held back a sob

"c-cas I'm sorry I should given you more time," Dean sighed rubbing the back of his hand

"n-no its fine if I wast so much of a baby I would be fine," castiel sobbed finally breaking remembering a memory of his father

He was just about 12 when this happened Gabriel was 9

"CASTIEL YOU LITTLE SHIT, YOU SAID YOU WOULD STAND WATCH AND NOW LOOK WHAT HAPPENED," his father boomed

"i-im," little castiel shuttered tears falling from his eyes

"WHY DO YOU EVEN CARE IF I DIE WHERE WOULD YOU GO, YOU AND GABE WOULD BE SEPARATED IT WOULD BE MY FINALE WISH," his father continued "STOP CRYING, WHAT ARE YOU A BABY, MEN DON'T CRY," his father slapped him

"d-dad i-," castiel tried to apologize

"SHUT UP I DON'T WANNA HEAR IT CLEAN UP THE BODIES AND THE BLOOD AND I'LL SEE IF YOU GET FOOD TOMORROW, YOU'LL ALWAYS BE ALONE NO ONE WANTS A BROKEN PIECE OF SHIT," the father continued to insult him and slap him every time castiel would talk

"DON'T SPEAK UNLESS SPOKEN TO, OR ASKED A QUESTION," he said

Castiel teary-eyed silently nodded and quickly cleaned up the mess

They got back to the motel and his dad grabbed his arm got out of the car and dragged him back to the room

"DON'T TEST ME, BOY," he threatened

Castiel nodded and went to sit with Gabriel

"cassie you okay?" Gabriel asked finally aware of there dads actions

"yeah i-I'm fine," cas said sniffling

"SHUT YOU, BROKEN SOLDIER," their father yelled

Gabe went to yell at there father but castiel stopped him a shook his head "no don't," he whispered

Gabriel glanced at there dad and quickly nodded.

Castiel didn't notice that he was in the back of baby with it moving he wasn't driving so who was, he was still paralysed but he could move his eyes, the dean was driving he looked terrified and he passed out again

Dean pov

Dean was standing there waiting for castiel to stand up but he didn't he just flopped onto the ground like a potato sack and dean froze 'what was happening,' he thought quickly then cas started shaking as if he was scared and then his body went lax

"CAS," dean yelled trying to get him up

He didn't respond so he picked castiel up and put him in baby and started driving he'd been on earth for a little bit but he knew how to drive right now he didn't have anything on he was listening to castiel breathing which was rapid and deep.

He quickly arrived at the motel and knocked a the door loudly

Cas pov

Caswould lay on the cheap crappy motel bed, blood seeping beneath his skin, ribsfractured. There would be no doctor, no evidence, he couldn't go to the police. Alreadyhe could smell the aroma of cheap Chinese food. His father would shout at himnot to dare touch the food even if he could, he couldn't move. That vampire dida real beating on him not like his father would care if he died, as castielaged he realised he could die and his father wouldn't care he started self-harmingtrying to escape his household but he wouldn't go so far, he needed to protectlittle Gabriel for fucks sake, he thought about taking Gabriel and running butthat wouldn't help his dad would tare up the country trying to find them wellonly Gabriel. Castiel finally gave in and sewed up his chest and then wrap gauzearound it and the rest of the body that was bruised or broken, that was thelast time cried in front of people...
