Chapter 14

3RD PERSON POV

Junkyu and Ashley look at each other.

"Uh is there something you need?" Ashley ask.

"I need to tell you something." Junkyu says.

Ashley nods.

"Let's go to the school garden." Junkyu says.

Ashley follows him to the garden.

They sit down on the bench.

Silence.

"Go on....." Ashley says.

"Let's stop being friends...." Junkyu says.

Ashley widen her eyes.

"I don't und-"

"Let's just forget that we ever met. It's easier like that and I'm sorry for being a jerk for these past days." Junkyu says.

"You're dating Sunghoon....you have him now." He finishes.

Junkyu stands up.

He was about to leave.

"Kim Junkyu......." Ashley says tearing up.

Junkyu stops his tracks.

"Why?...." Ashley ask.

"It's for the best....it's the only way." Junkyu says.

"Only way for what?!" Ashley yells.

Junkyu goes quiet.

His back was facing her.

"Only way for me to stop falling for you even more....." Junkyu says.

Tears form on Ashleys face.

"You're just like everyone....." Ashley says.

Junkyu walks away.

Ashley sobs.

"Everyone leaves at some point....." Ashley says.

Junkyu goes in his room and collapsed off his feet.

"Why did I do that?...." He ask himself.

His chest felt heavy.

"Why did I leave her?.."

He ruffles his hair with frustration.

It was the next morning. Ashleys eyes were puffy from crying last night.

She was heartbroken because she just lost a good friend. She tries to just pretend everything is fine.

But she couldn't stop thinking about what Junkyu said.

He's falling for her?

"Morning Noona!" Haruto greets.

"You too Ruto." Ashley smiles.

She sees Junkyu pretend she wasn't there.

That made Ashley upset.

They sit down at their table.

"Give it back!" Yuna yells.

"No!" Huening Kai yells.
