My Best Friend's Brother (BxB)

Twenty Seven

I was driving as fast as I could but also in a speed that could not to get me in trouble.

Of course! It all makes sense, it makes me feel like shit. Kyler took Alfred! That asshole kidnapped my best friend, he's behind all of this mess.

"I should've known," I uttered while driving, "I feel stupid."

Back when I was my twelfth grade, Alfred and I don't go to the same school, in fact, we were only acquainted and we only meet whenever our moms would meet.
Though it was true that our moms actually planned to have us engaged at a young age— both of our families doesn't even own huge business companies or whatever to pull something like that.. so I dont really know where they getting that idea from.

So, in twelfth grade, I WAS friends with Kyler before, he was athletic and spontaneous to his circle of friends.
Kyler and I were partners in a school project and unexpectedly during that very short span of time we were like the best project duo and began to be friends and hang out.
We had this sister-and-brother like bond, maybe it's because Elyzeo has been away outside the country ever since he finished elementary, and Kyler was like the brother I could hang out with and filled in that role for Elyzeo.

I'm not going to tell our time together during twelfth grade, the point is I was friends with Kyler and we were okay and swell back then until we ended it— well... actually I ended it because of him.
Kyler was courting a girl back in our time and the span of him trying to get the girl to say 'yes' for dating him is like almost a year, he started from eleventh grade to twelveth.. like he was dedicated to this girl.
But the longer it went the more impatient he grew, I always try to keep him calm and tell him things like 'the girl needs more time, before you know it.. she'll be yours in no time'  or  'you know fisherman waits before the fish takes the bait. Just wait and be consistent, buddy .'

But he was something else.

After getting out of my classroom, there was a ruckus in outside the side yard of our school and everyone was trying to see what was going on. As soon I was able to get to the front and see what had happened, my eyes widened, I was shocked and kind of terrified, it was Kyler and there was a boy—about our age that time on the ground beaten up and was showing blood. The girl he wanted to be with is also there in a scene, her hair looked like it has been pulled and her cheeks looked like it took a fist too, she was a mess also.

Everyone was began to whisper and have there own conclusions of what might've cause this. The teachers came in and told us to go back to our next classes our we will be all in detention. Everyone did so and I took a final look at the scene, I saw Kyler with a light smile on his face.. it seems like he was happy to beat the two up and that disturbed me for the whole day.
Did anyone saw his expression? He didn't look angry anymore or even shocked and regretful at all, he looked satisfied to what he has done.

Kyler was interrogated by the principal and counselor and he told him why he did it, Kyler was walking in the halls but then see the girl holding hands and kissing the guy he beaten up, it turns out the girl just said yes of dating this other dude and that stirred hin up and made him attack both the girl and the guy.

After and interrogation, the school called the guardians of the three involved and told them what happened and what shall be done.

Kyler was suspended for at least a month, all things related to schoolwork was sent to his home so he can still be able to pass subject requirements, and while he was away I began making new friends in school and meet people who are cool and chill.

After all that, everyone might've thought that it was just acting out in jealousy, but now I've realized something.

"Kyler is one messed up guy." I pulled over the car to the side and looked at Alfred's house. There was a car I dont know of parked in front of their house.
"Someone is here too." I rushed over to the front door and I began to hear Alfred's mom voice.
The space between the house are quite large and definitely no neighbors would be able to hear someone even if they're outside which makes it not really helpful and just use up all your energy. If something were to happened the suspect has definitely time to get away with it.
