"Why did this have to happen? everything is fine here, now I have to move to California, I don't leave, I just want to stay here." Thought y/n, "God this is gonna be awful." y/n flops onto their chair, there were boxes everywhere, all their clothes were on the floor, wrinkled and messy. There were small cobwebs in the corners and a poster nearly about to fall from the wall. Y/n sighed as they heard their mother at the doorway of their small room say "y/n! we're moving in 2 days, get packing! Valerie is already finished." I groaned as I got up to finish packing. Valerie is my younger sister, she's 8 years old and she's one of the most wholesome people I know. Even though she's 8 she knows how to comfort people well and makes me feel like I have someone to talk to. "Mom! I can't find my jacket!" yelled Valerie from the other room, "Did you check carefully dear?" replied her mother, "Yes! I've searched everywhere but I can't find it!" Valerie looked around the room anxiously, "Let me look sweetie." said her mother as she patted Valerie's shoulder with a reassuring smile. I finally finished packing my clothes and looked towards my desk where I saw a framed picture of an old friend and me, "I don't need this" and proceeded to throw it in the trash. "how did I never notice that photo" I thought, "maybe its because I never really paid attention to other things except homework and videogames." I shook my head to get over the thought of that and put the boxes out in the hallway, all that was left in my room was a futon, a small desk that had a vanity mirror on it with an office chair, a trashcan, and a pile of small clothes to change into. I turned to look into the mirror and saw that I had dark circles under my eyes, sweat dripping from my forehead, and messy hair. I decided to take a shower to relax from the work I had today.

I dried my hair as I looked through my phone, I clicked on an app to watch a video as I laid down in my futon bed. It was so uncomfortable. I didn't like this one bit, "I should just try to sleep early..this is a waste of time." I threw my towel on my chair as I plugged my phone in to charge.
"Hopefully tomorrow is better."
