~° Chapter 9 °~

"Iwa-chan! Doesn't this top look cute?"

"What?"

Aoba Josai's setter and ace were hanging out at the mall together after school. Oikawa was dragging Iwaizumi all over the place.

"What are you even looking for? Doesn't natter how pretty you look, trash is trash," Iwaizumi groaned and Oikawa rolled his eyes.

"That's actually rude. Do you think Y/N would like this top? What's her size?" Oikawa held up a black shirt with an alien and the words "I'm Outta this Eff-ing World" on it.

"Why?" Iwa questioned as his friend browsed the racks.

"Because, I wanna get us matching T-shirts! Ah! I think this will fit her. You want one too?" Iwaizumi grunted and found his size.

You, Iwaizumi, and Oikawa have been friends since middle school. You always hung out together and were practically inseparable! The three of you we to the same school for freshman year. You transferred to your dream high school at the end, though.

The boys bought the shirts and headed out of the store. Oikawa took out his phone and leaned towards Iwa.

"What are you doing? Get away."

"Come on! I'm gonna text y/n that we got her a surprise! Maybe she'll wear it at her next show~" Oikawa cooed and took the photo.

"I'll send it right no- huh? Iwa look." Oikawa stopped as he saw your silhouette in front of him, accompanied by two boys. "Let's say hi!"

Before he could be stopped, Oikawa jogged up behind your group.

"Y/n-chaaaan!~ Is that you?"

You were about to turn around when Oikawa hugged you from behind and nuzzled his face in your neck.

"Oikawa? What are you doing?" You giggled and pushed the boy off. "How'd you know it was me?"

Oikawa smirked. "I recognize that cake from a mile away!"

"Wish I could say the same for you Pfft-" you laughed and looked the boy up and down.

"That is so mean!~" he gasped and looked at the boys beside you. He gave them a nod. Kenma ignored him. Kuroo waved back.

Who are they??? Why is he all over y/n? P e r s o n a l. S p a c e!

"Ah, these are my friends Kuroo and Kenma. From nekoma." You introduced the boys to each other. "So, what are you doing here Oikawa?"

"I could ask you the same thing." You flinched at the sound of Iwaizumi's voice. He was standing behind Oikawa and smiled at you. "Hey."

"Hey, Hajime," you giggled as the ace walked up to you. "I was just hanging out with some friends from school."

"Oh, okay."

"What are you doing here?" You playfully poked his chest.

"Well-"

"We got matching T-Shirts!!" Oikawa squeezed between you two and showed you the shirt. "Don't worry, I got you one too~"

"These are so cute! Thank you guys." You smiled and took the shirt. Then you remembered something. "I got you guys something too. Here." You pulled out three friendship bracelets.

"Aw cool!"

"Thanks, boo."

Kuroo furrowed his eyebrows. 'Boo'?

"Yup! They even have custom messages!" You turned them over to let them see. Yours said 'the boss,' oikawas said 'Henchmen 1,' and Iwaizumi's said 'Henchmen 2.'

The boys read them and glared at you. You smiled and looked to check on your nekoma buddies. They seemed bored.

"Well," Oikawa began and snapped on the braclet. "We better get going. See ya around y/n!" He threw up a peace sign and started walking.

Iwaizumi pressed his arm on the back of your head to lean you closer to him. He planted a kiss on your forehead and you blushed.

"I'll text you later, boo."

"Bye baby." You waved goodbye and turned to Kuroo and Kenma. Kenma began to walk like nothing had happened. Kuroo on the other hand looked at you confused and slightly angered. "Who was that?" You looked at him and blushed a deep red.

"He's my boyfriend..." You shyly stated.

Kuroo stared at you for a bit and you swore that for a split second, you saw something fade from his eyes. He snickered and pointed his finger at you.

"Y/n has coodies!~"

"Oh give it a rest already!" You playfully punched his shoukder as he took out his phone. He sighed.

"That was my mom, I need to head back. I'll text you guys later!" Kuroo said and left without giving you any time to respond. He left you and Kenma in the mall unsupervised...

"Race you to the arcade!"

"Bet."
