The Best Entrance....Ever

I was sitting in the back of the car,
sleeping when we arrived.
"Honey, we're here."
I opened my eyes to meet the great Canterwood Creast Academy. It was large and had Arenas, pastures, the Stable, and of course the Campus.

I got out of the car and opened the trailer to get Azura. She was a beautiful dapple gray with a long mane and tail. We were jumpers and did some Cross Country and a little bit of Dressage. She was prancing in place ready to see her new home.
"Calm down, Azura." I whispered.
"We don't want to look crazy on our first day, right?"
She nodded as if she agreed.
"Jessi, go bring Azura to her stall. We will bring your stuff to your room." Said mom.
I gave mom a hug as if she was already leaving. And them it hit me. They were gonna leave.
I was trying not to cry in front of my parents.
I headed away so they couldn't see me cry.
There was a girl riding a black horse in a arena. She was getting off so I went to ask her if she knows where Azuras stall is.

"Hi you must be new."
"Ya. Do you know,by any chance, where my horses stall is?"
"What's her name?"
"Azura."
"Ahhh yes, she's in the stall right next to me. By the way, my name is Kortney. Koke for short."

"My name is Jessica, Jessi for short."
We both started laughing.

(Pause. It was at that moment when I knew we were Best Friends. We looked like each other too.)

"Here we are."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
"Will we see each other around?" I asked.
"Im going to the Sweet Shop later."
"Ok well I bet my room mate will know where that is."
"Oh well i better let you head to you're room."
"Ya, I don't want my parents doing all the work."
"Well, alrighty. See you later."
"Yup!"
And then she was gone. In the stall next to me.
I put Azura in her stall and gave her a kiss and left.
I looked like my parents were already in my dorm. So I headed there.
