 in my feels, but what's new?

as usual, I have way too feelings about the marauders. why my heart has decided to latch onto these four trouble makers, I'll never know. all I do know is that I love them all dearly.

but more so than usual, I'm in my feels about the marauders + the McGonagall twins. so, just a few headcanons so I have a reason to cry. and also a reason not to pay attention in class when I should be.

- Wyatt and Waverly are easily the bad influences of the group, Waverly more so than Wyatt, but I digress

- listen, listen, if it wasn't for the twins, it would have taken the boys ages to pull some of the most mischievous pranks

- and they were raised in the castle, and thus, they know almost every single passage way & tunnel.

- although, out of the group, Wyatt is the calmest and quietest. he never participated in bullying, and did his best to avoid that, even though he didn't like the Slytherins either.

- and listen, wherever Potter was, there was Black. and vice versa, but get this. Potter, Black & Waverly were the terror trio. they loved to cause mayhem, and Waverly could easily talk herself out of every situation.

- detention with Flitwick? Not anymore, Waverly talked herself and the marauders out of it. caught in the halls after curfew by Slughorn? nah, they lost track of time studying for the potions exams next week.

- oh, and the way that Remus basically cries out that he's a werewolf? the boys are kinda shocked, but Waverly? she just sort of hugs him and tells him that she'll do whatever it takes to keep him safe

- in other words, Waverly is fierce like her mother

- Wyatt makes sure that Remus will have his notes if he needs to miss class, and makes sure that he has plenty of chocolate. Wyatt and Sirius also sneak to the hospital wing to take minor supplies for minor moons. Wyatt becomes the mother hen of the marauders

- and all of them work to become animagi, and when they transform for the first time is glorious. Wyatt cried, admittedly.

- Waverly's animagus form was a huge surprise, but with her fierce personality and willingness to physically fight someone, it was easily accepted.

- but speaking of fights, Waverly would fight someone for saying something out of line.

- she once fought a Slytherin bc they said that Sirius was weak for turning his back on his family. she walked away with a black eye and two weeks worth of detention with Slughorn, but the other kid walked away with broken hand and a broken pride

- she also fought a ravenclaw bc they said Peter was nothing but a follower and stupid.

- and like Minnie wants to discipline her daughter because she can't go around punching someone bc they said something, but Minnie's also proud that her daughter stands up for her friends with an unwavering loyalty.

- okay, enough about Waverly. more about Wyatt

- such a sweet bisexual baby

- and Wyatt is pretty open about his sexuality, thanks to his dad. Wyatt & Joel have such a pure, healthy father/son relationship

- but his relationship with Peter? it's a bit tense, because I see Peter being afraid of what others would say.

- their relationship is definitely hidden. like kissing in empty classrooms, holding hands underneath tables and cuddling whenever the dorms are empty.

- like the marauders know about it, but Wyatt keeps it a secret from most others for Peter.

- Waverly loves to tease the hell out of them

- but Wyatt will sit there and tease Waverly about her relationship with Sirius

- bc we all headcanon that Sirius was a player during his youth, but no.

- sure, he had a couple flings but they never lasted bc he fancied someone else. so, these flings lasted a couple weeks at most and it ended.

- but things happened between him and Waverly during fifth year when the marauders refused to talk to him after the prank. so, yeah.

- on an unrelated note, every sunday the marauders join Joel for tea. Joel also helps James with his pursuit of Lily. Joel is the teacher that ships his students together and puts them with their crushes on projects 👀 may or may not be how Wyatt & Peter got together
