Soloist Chloe Hwang leaves Bright Entertainment after nearly 10 years

Bright Entertainment is known and credited for creating some of the best artists and groups in Kpop history for many years, but now it has been reveled that their Shining Star, Chloe Hwang would be leaving the company after 7 years.

Hwang announced on her Instagram that she has not resigned with her company and would be leaving the entertainment industry indefinitely.

"Hello, it's Chloe. After many days of negotiations and thinking it over, I've have decided to not renew my contract with Bright Entertainment.

Please understand that I have no quarrels with the company and am not leaving with ill feelings towards Bright. I have greatly loved these passed 7 years, and I am so happy I was able to spend them with you; my fans.

Now it's time for me to find something new. I do not know if I'll ever return to this industry, but it is not out of the realm of possibility. I want to be an ordinary woman for now; without the pressure of the media.

Thank you to my fans for staying by my side. I love you now and always.

Bright Entertainment released a statement on Chloe's departure:

"This is Bright Entertainment.

We are here to confirm that Chloe Hwang is no longer working under us. She has had a very successful career and we wish her luck on future endeavors."

We send best wishes to Chloe as she enters this new chapter in her life.

Chloe Hwang makes 1st Instagram post after leaving Bright Entertainment almost 2 years ago. New company, Elite Records set to open for auditions

Chloe Hwang, former soloist under Bright Entertainment, posts a photo on her Instagram which has been inactive for 2 years.

The photo is of, what looks like, a company building. The picture was captioned saying, "Elite Records; Auditions opening soon 12.18.20 @EliteRecords_Official"

Many fans are suspecting that Chloe is opening an entertainment company.

Later that day, former actress Moon Hanbyul and model Ahn Bora made announcements regarding Elite Records.

Hanbyul left acting in 2014 due to severe health concerns, but in an Instagram post she stated that she was hired to be an acting teacher for a new agency called Elite Records.

Bora, on the other hand, left her company 3 months ago due to disagreements over jobs and salary. Though she hasn't officially said if she'd be working with Elite, she has liked both Chloe and Hanbyul's posts. She even followed the company's official Instagram.

HanHyeQueens Chloe is definitely the one in charge. She posted that auditions were opening soon and linked the company's insta. Also she and Hanbyul are such close friends (plus former labelmates), so I have a feeling Chloe hired her.
