Dark clutched his chest with one hand, holding onto the table in front of him with his other. His breaths came quicker and quicker as he tried to focus his thoughts on the main entities giving him his power. Closing his eyes, he checked on the souls, making sure they were still there. His red and blue aura glitched rapidly as he let out a sigh of relief and his breath slowed from them showing their presence. But still, what had caused this sudden loss of power from him? The spirits inside of him still showed the same amount of hatred for the deceiver and let him use them as a vessel for their power, so could there be an outside source of the disturbance? Then it hit him, the district attorney. He looked at his hands and he realized he was right. They became slightly transparent and had felt lighter than before, he lost his physical form. The district attorney had given up their body to help their friends, but in return, they were trapped in a mirror while a monster took the form of the ex-mayor. But this doesn't make sense, they couldn't have left on their own and he knew Wilford had long forgotten about them, so how could they have escaped? The only thing he could think of was that...no. He couldn't have, why would he? He hated them, he hated all of them. Dark was protecting The D.A. from him, from the world. He was the good guy, he was helping them. If that bastard even did so much as look at them, he would-

"Oh hi, Damien! I've been looking all over for you!" Wilford peeked from around the corner and made his entrance, as flamboyant as ever. "Oh, hi Wil..."

"You haven't seen Celine around here, have you? If I could avoid her I'd rather-"

"She's sleeping." Although Wilford was often a pain in the back, he was still his friend. Some remnant of Damiens consciousness remanded and it longed for William.

"Oh well I'm glad I found you, I got a great Idea. We're gonna make a T.V. show!"

While part of him wanted to decline his stupid and unnecessary offer, the other part wanted to engage in it. Damn Damien's emotions, didn't he know they were useless in getting revenge on Mark? His aura flickered in buzzed as he tried to push down the feelings but to no avail. "Okay."
