the crackling and popping of a fire could be heard through the small log cabin as a blonde and a brunette cuddled up on the couch in front of it, having just come inside from a day out.

the two boys decided to spend some time out in the snow on the third day that they had together on their honeymoon, feeling guilty that their three other best friends had paid so much money for the cabin that they had only really spent their time inside of, being wrapped up in the warmth of each other.

the two had gone on a short walk through the national park that the log cabin was situated in, zach giggling and smiling when they saw any type of forna, definitely being the animal lover out of the two. the older had just watched his boy walk ahead in front of him, admiring his adorable innocence.

daniel looked at his boyfriend with a fond smile on his lips as zach rested his head in his husband's lap, his hand running through the youngest's hair soothingly.

"mm. that's nice"

the blonde boy let out a small chuckle and leaned down to press a soft kill to zachs forehead. his boy was just absolutely precious.

"i'm glad you like it, sweetheart."

the younger only hummed in response, using daniels leg to push himself up to stand before sitting in his husbands lap, pressing his face into his neck.

daniel let out a soft chuckle at the boy in his lap, rubbing his back gently as he manoovered his body to lay, causing zachs legs to straddle his waist.

"all good and warm sugar?" the blonde asked, grabbing the blanket that was laying beside the couch and laying it over the boy.

after realising how cool it got in the evenings inside the small building, the older had to take special care to make sure his boyfriend was always warm. zach had always been extremely sensitive to the cold, and got sick easily. daniel would hate for him to get sick during this special week they had together

"yeah. you always take such good care of me, it would almost be impossible to freeze with you by my side." zach pulled his head out of the olders neck , looking at him.

"shut up you. you're my baby, i can look after you all i want."

the submissive's face turned a bright red colour as he rested on daniels chest, shutting his eyes. "i'm tired."

"go to sleep babe. i'll bring you to bed."

with the assurance from his husband, the boy was lulled to sleep by the gentle hums coming from the older.

when daniel finally grew tired and got up with the younger in his arms, laying him in bed before climbing in next to him, he knew he was and would forever be in love with his baby.
