I woke up in the cabin, I didn't remember ever walking back when I guessed Percy carried me. I blushed at the thought and rolled out of the bed. Percy was gone so I went out of the cabin and ventured over to breakfast. Chiron came over and greeted us.

“Elena, I’m glad to see that you’re staying. I heard your argument with Percy, and I figured you would be gone by morning. No matter I’ve informed your parents about your current status. They wish to see you and you need to grab the rest of your essentials.”

My eyes went wide, “Oh yeah! Gods they’re probably worried sick about me.”

Chiron nodded, “I’ve already arranged a transport, Percy shall go with you. When you two return there’s something we must discuss.” Percy and I nodded and raced for the hill.

Him and I made it to the top of the hill and I saw a pretty big guy waiting. I thought I was hallucinating when I saw eyes all over his body. He was wearing a tank top and cargo shorts. Eyes covered his arms, legs, neck, face, everywhere. I looked at Percy then back at the eyed dude. Percy laughed at my shocked face.

“Don’t worry you’re not going crazy. That’s Argus the camp’s head of security.”

I nodded hesitantly and slowly made my way down to the car waiting on the side of the road. I climbed into the car and pain shot up my side as the seat buckle grazed my hip bone. I looked out the window as we drove along letting my mind wonder. I was thinking about the prophecy that I was a part of, no matter how hard I tried to avoid it. I was thinking about what Chiron wanted to talk to me about. I was fidgeting with my fingers as the trees and cars passed by in blurs of colors. My mind drifted off to Percy, the handsome guy with black hair and green eyes. Sure I had relationships in the past but they weren’t all that great. Being used for money isn’t the best feeling in the world, especially knowing your death date since you were born. I didn’t know why but I feel a pull to him, unlike anything I’d ever felt before. I shook off the feeling as best I could but it didn’t seem to leave. As much as I hated the thought of it, Annabeth was better for him. She was strong, smart, and independent. Hades, I needed him to save my ass from three campers.

It didn’t take long before we pulled into my driveway. My heart fluttered with excitement, I didn't realize how much I missed my parents until my house came into view. I barely waited for the car to stop before getting out and running up to the door. I knocked and waited nearly jumping up and down. My mom opened the door and almost started crying.

“Oh my baby! Are you okay? I came home and you weren’t there! What happened? Who’s this young man next to you? Is he your boyfriend?” my face went red with the last question.

My dad appeared and pulled my mom back, “Let them inside first honey. So she can explain.”

Percy and I sat down on the couch in front of my standing parents. I really wished he jumped in to help me explain everything but he just stayed silent, his face was red from my mom’s last question as well.

“That explains so much. No wonder I would come home and you’d be watching Greek Myths. You were so interested when you were younger.” my mom said.

I flushed pink, “Yeah, I’ll explain more but I need to pack my stuff.”

My mom nodded, I could see tears in her eyes. I felt a pang of guilt in my heart. I didn't want to leave her but it was safer for me to leave. I nodded at Percy to follow and we went upstairs to my room. I pulled a suitcase from under my bed and started packing clothes. I packed a few more books, pens and my journal. I went into the bathroom and grabbed my toothbrush, hairbrush, deodorant and came back out. Percy was sitting on my bed flipping through my songbook. I turned bright red and packed up the rest of my stuff.
