"Not going to lie, I did not expect you to actually buy me ice cream."

They were seated on the curb in front of the ice cream store. Jennie's body was completely facing Lisa's, her legs crossed in front of her. Whereas, Lisa had her legs stretched in front of her as she ate her ice cream.

Jennie chuckled, a mouthful of ice cream, her lips shining from the dessert, something Lisa reframed from staring at.

No, she was not staring.

Because if she was staring then it would mean that she finds Jennie's lips extremely attractive. So, she was not staring. Swallowing the ice cream, Jennie's eyes carried over to Lisa, a hint of amusement and curiosity.

"What were you expecting?" The brunette asked, placing the cup of her empty ice cream to the side and filtering her fingers through her loosely curled hair, forcing Lisa to look forward again.

The way the light from the moon illuminated over Jennie's skin and the way it made her brown eyes sparkle even more had Lisa clenching and unclenching her jaw. Why was the girl so darn pretty? she thought bitterly, stirring her already melted ice cream absentmindedly.

"I expected you to take me to your room."

Jennie rolled her head back, eyes screwed shut as her laugh boomed and filled the still night air. Her laugh was cute, Lisa hated how she was growing shy all of a sudden. Jennie's laugh transitioned into a soft giggle,

"Is that something you wanted?" Lisa looked over and scoffed towards Jennie's eyebrows wiggling with a suggestive smirk. "Because, who am I to deny such offer?"

Lisa also hated that she was blushing. With an eyeroll, Lisa looked back forward, placing her cup of ice cream beside her,

"Need I remind you that I am straight?" She glances back to Jennie who was grinning from ear to ear, a charming smile. The brunette leaned forward, her elbow pressing over her thigh and chin resting on her palm.

"So, what's your major?" Jennie completely waved off the topic and in a way, Lisa was grateful. The topic had her stomach twisting in an unpleasant way. Lisa wished she understood why. Maybe it was the way Jennie's deep steady eyes studied her, scanned her without so much saying a word of what her eyes were telling.

Lisa lifted a brown, "Are you trying to get to know me Kim?"

"Yes gorgeous, so what's your major?" Lisa rolled her eyes but smiled nonetheless. Jennie Kim, relentless. The taller one pulled her legs closer to her chest and looked at Jennie,

"Photography," Lisa said it with a smile and it must have been contagious enough because Jennie was smiling at her and oh my, what a sight. She could feel her heart practically leaping up just from the sight. Be still my confused beating heart.

"Why am I not surprise? You've always given me artsy vibes," Jennie said, laughing lightly, never straying her eyes away from doe eyes that wavered every few seconds. Jennie's stare, not cold or harsh. Just so damn soft. Lisa laughed quietly as well,

"Should I take that as a compliment?" She asked, leaning her cheek against her knee, staring at Jennie who exhaled suddenly.

Lisa felt breathless because something flickered in Jennie's eyes, something she didn't understand. All she knew was that Jennie had scooted closer and was staring at her like she was... Lisa had no words for that kind of stare.

"I don't think an insult towards someone so enthralling even exists," she spoke lightly, filled with playfulness, and yet her eyes screamed serious. Lisa could've sworn she almost squeaked in surprised.
