A/N: There will be two New years chapters (courtesy of me being awesome, jk I'm not awesome you guys are, otherwise I wouldn't be writing this fanfiction) one will be in Percy's point of view, and one in Annabeth's point of view. Anyway, enjoy! emmadell here's to you!
We decided to have a quiet New Years. Just spend time with Annabeth and Silena.
"Annabeth what movie should we watch?" I asked her, searching through our movies.
"I don't care... as long as it's not Finding Nemo."
"But-"
"No, Percy."
"Fiiiine." I exasperated, she chuckled.
"Oh suck it up, don't be such a baby."
"That's what she said." I said turning to smirk at her.
"Perseus Jackson!" She scolded.
I shrugged, "What?"
"Just pick a fricking movie already."
I dropped some movies in her lap and waited for her to judge them.
"Wolf of Wallstreet, No."
"The Little Mermaid.. No."
"The Fault In Our Stars... possibly." She put that one to the side.
"Bridesmaids? Maybe." She then continued putting more in a maybe pile and others in a no pile.
We also had some movies and T.V. series listed on Netflix.
"So we have, first off with the binge watching shows, Pretty Little Liars, Once Upon A Time, Modern Family, 2 Broke Girls, 2 and a Half Men, and Black -ish. For movies we have, The Fault In Our Stars, Bridesmaids, The Starving Games, The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mean Girls one and two... and that's it. Oh! And the Breakfast Club."
"What should we watch first?" I asked after a couple seconds of silence.
"Maybe we should start with the movies?" She questioned, studying the pile on her lap.
"Sure."
After awhile we settled on watching Mean Girls One and Two, which I totally did not agree on.. pshh.. girls..
"I did not agree to this," I stated.
"Denial is the first stage to loving a movie, Percy."
"Pff.. sh.. wha..? Nuh uh!" I spluttered.
"Percy just watch the movie, please?" She sighed.
"Am I making you mad?" I asked sitting down on the other side of the couch.
She sighed, "No. Just frustrated." She glanced at the empty part of the couch by my side.
I lifted my arm "Get over here." And she crawled over and snuggled into my side.
During the first few minutes/ intro, we just watched baby Silena sleep in her crib next to the couch.
When the movie officially started, Annabeth leaned her head on my shoulder, and laced her finger with mine. I kissed her forehead and leaned my head on top of hers, checking the clock we had every so often.
Towards the end of the movie I looked down at Annabeth and checked the clock. It was eleven fifty-eight.
"Annabeth," I wispered, nudging her slightly.
She groaned.
"Annabeth." I said a little louder. Still no response.
So I did what any caring husband would do, and kissed her awake. I leaned down and placed my lips on hers, our mouths fitting perfectly together. Only when she missed back for a few seconds did I know she was awake.
She sat up and rubbed her eyes, "What time is it?" She asked quietly, looking around.
I brushed some hair away from her face, "It's eleven fifty-eight. Almost New Years." I replied.
She looked over to check on Silena, still sleeping. She smiled and kissed my cheek.
"You tease," I groaned.
"You'll get the real thing when it hits midnight, ya big baby." She laughed lightly.

"Midnight." I smiled and looked down at her.
Annabeth leaned up and kissed me. It wasn't a normal kiss, not even close. It was like we were in the lake again back at Camp Half-Blood. Butterflies erupted in my stomach and I felt like sparks were flying all over again. I melted into the kiss, our lips moving in sync. She brought her hands up around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her waist.
We finally broke apart and both of us were smiling like crazy, "Haven't had a kiss like that in awhile, huh?" She said.
I nodded and pressed my forehead to hers.
"I love you, Annabeth." I told her, looking her in the eyes and a smile plastered to my face.
"I love you too, Percy. Always have, always will." She said, her eyes watering.
"We should ge- tyobehd." I tried to say being cut off by a yawn.
"We should." She agreed.
I watched as Annabeth carefully picked up Silena from her crib and we walked upstairs, each taking turns kissing Silena's forehead and we walked to bed.
We got in and Annabeth snuggled into my side, I wrapped an arm around her shoulders and we both fell asleep.
