Chapter 2 - Wow

As the last few people from the class filed out, Mrs Falls turned to us and to our surprise she gave us a huge smile.
"Girls, I'm so excited for you two". She said to us in a very happy voice. Elizabeth and I gave each other a confused but happy look because why she made us stay back might not be as bad ad we thought. "The school is holding a trip to France for the one to two year classes and I was hoping you two would go"? She said as she handed us a broacher which had the information about the trip. Elizabeth and I read though the broacher and we liked what we read.
"We'd like to discuss this at the back for a minute". I said to Mrs Falls.
"Sure, thing". She replied.
We walked to the back of the classroom with the broacher in our hands.
"Well we know it's not just a trip. It's going to be a mission". Elizabeth whispered to me.
"Yep, that's obvious. But I was a bit confused with one part", I told her hoping she can clear it up. "It says the supervising teachers are; Mrs Falls, Miss Church, Mr Blake, Mr Shepard and Principal Ms Lawson. I'm a bit confused cause all this time I thought the Principal was Mr Johnson"?
"Oh no, Mr Johnson is just the Vice principal. Ms Lawson is Principal of the school. She is the best principal you will ever have, she's funny and really nice". She said very enthusiastically.
"Then how come she wasn't their on the first days talk"
"Oh yeah, she also has another job with the 'Black Guns' office. She's very talented".
"I might know her, I kinda worked in the 'Black Guns' office for a bit what's her name"? I asked Elizabeth.
"Sophie Lawson". She said and I was stunned.
"WHAT"? I yelled and Mrs Falls looked over.
"The principal of THIS school is my MUM". I asked both of them but me at the same time.
"You're mum"? Elizabeth asked.
"Well yes, she is Savannah. Your Mum is very talented. She just didn't want you to know because she thought it might change your mind about going to this school". Mrs Falls said.
"Wow. I mean, when I saw her name on the broacher I did think of her but I though lots of people can write their name like that, I can't be her? But it was. Hmm ok. Elizabeth and I are happy to go on the trip". I said to Mrs Falls, then left the classroom Elizabeth followed.
