Hi, sorry for the wait, it took me some time to finish this.

This story was partially inspired by the Frostblood series by Elly Blake book #1. I really enjoyed reading this series and about all the experiences the main character endured because despite it all, she still managed to over come her obstacles and never gave up.

In this story, I wanted to highlight characters strengths and weaknesses because I feel fiction writing in different view points allows readers to analyse different characters to understand them more and their flaws.

Just to put it out there - Arkarntai is something I just made up on the spot, I didn't find it from another book/movie/place etc, however if it is from either of the following please know I did not have any intentions to copy anyones ideas. I just felt it really fitted my story.

The image I used for inspiration was found on a website called Invite the Light. Anyway, enjoy part 7.

The Fire Lord Of Akarntai and His Queen

Deep in the darkness, the lord of Akarntai ruled with his queen. A fire dancer that Twirled, Leapt, Spun until the Coals became Ash and her feet were Black.

When the sun drew near, her presence awakened. A shining Star, having the sun wish it caught at least a glimpse of her hair. Havocking destruction through the grass, trees... the only life was the eternal flame dancing within lonely dreams. Where time had grown pitifully slow - until he captured a quiet rage awaiting to burn... one he became determined to make his queen.

Ruby embers challenged his authority, her sharp tongue slashing words of defiance, constant persistency. This didn't last too long - eventually the high spirited girl became forced to dance with submissiveness and obedience.

Even if to the king she is a Puppet on strings, she is cleverer than most would believe. She is really the Weapon he doesn't see. That of a powerful Queen who's ambitions are greater than blue flames locked deep in the Sea.

Every night is a ritual. She appears in Scarlett, hiding all except her feverish rage eyes that mask the challenge within. No music ever missing - Beethoven, Bach always lingering. Her hums sending him to oblivion, becoming the music of the night - Soft Prayers, Words of Wisdom, an Anchor, the North point on the Compass, the Star in the Black Sea, the Heart the King so desperately needs.

The Fire lord of Akarntai can finally sleep. After searching in the ashes of doom, the flames of terror, the clouds of smoke... he finally found his soul flame that he can burn eternally next to.
