"I'm going to the store watch the twins and make sure they don't wake up."

I was woken up by an unknown number calling me so I just answered it.

I was calling to inform you that Derek Morris has passed away in a very bad accident. I'm so sorry but his belongings will be held at the hospital he is located at for you to pick up.

I sat there just taking in what he was saying to me. He is the love of my life we have kids.
I called vallyk and told him the news
Which got around quick. Social media found out the same day.
~6 years later~
I picked up some flowers with Layla and Jason to go visit their mama's grave.
We drove to the place he was buried at. I parked opening the twins door( there 11 Derek died when they were 5)
Derek was buried right on front so we walked where his Tombstone was.
"Hi mama" both Jason an Layla said in sync. "We miss you" Layla said tears coming down her Face.
"Layla don't cry mama wouldn't want you to cry" Jason told her wiping her tears. He then turned around pointing to mike and vallyk who where coming this way.
"Go ahead daddy is gonna stay here and talk to mama ok?" I said waving to mike
They got up running to uncle Mike and vallyk. While I just stayed here and ramblers about the days when everything was ok.
"Derek I miss you I wanted to end it all but I thought about the kids. I need you I should've told you to stay home that night I'm sorry. "
I sobbed into my shirt feeling a Hand on my back. It was Mike he hugged me while I cried. Mike was just letting me cry while Layla and Jason held onto vallyk.
"It's okay he's in a better place and he wouldn't want you crying so stop it." Mike whispered to me still hugging me
He got up and vallyk gave him flowers to put on Dereks grave.
"Cmon let's go mike we'll wait for you guys " vallyk said walking away with mike.
"Aight tell mama happy birthday so we can go" I told the kids
"Happy birthday mama" they both said before walking away

So... this is based off of an event in my life where I lost my uncle.
Just minus the car crash and the 6 years ago. It actually happened this year. And it was because of drugs so don't so drugs kids and stay safe
