It's been a week and to be honest you were kind of disappointed.

After identifying the new sensation as lust and that you obviously had taken a great interest in the homey comforting boy with eyes that made you feel safe,
nothing has changed

Now you just feel like every day you're just going through the motions, it all feel so pointless.

Why have you started feeling such extreme apathy?

Well it's not the easiest to invest your feelings and open up to someone who is so hard to read.

You both haven't even addressed the elephant in the room.

You're on your way to hang out with the pudding head boy and your extroverted cousin.

After a few minutes of walking, you make it to kuroo's house.

You, nervous from the build up of hanging out with kenma, slowly ring the doorbell.

"One second!!" A unprepared voice yells from the other side of the thick door that seems more intimidating by the second.

Suddenly the door flings open.

"Come in!" Your messy haired cousin yells looking as out of it as ever and holding enough snacks to feed an entire family for weeks, "kenma says he will be a few minutes late."

He gives you his infamous grin and lead you to his plush looking couch.

After what seemed like an eternity, there was a quiet knock at the door.

Kuroo  opened the door for the meek and adorable boy.

After you all got settled, you started chatting and eating way too many snacks.

It's been a few minutes and
This feels so wrong
What are you witnessing?

Maybe you're overthinking....

Kuroo isn't blushing
It's just warm.

He is not staring at the boy you love with a look that can only be described as desire
He is just enjoying the conversation.

He isn't laughing at everything kenma says like he is the most precious being
He just appreciates his company.

"Bye kenma!" You and your bed headed cousin say in sinc.

Kuroo sighs in a joyous and fulfilled way.

"Damn, I really like him," kuroo says clumsily flopping onto the couch right next to you.
