"Chris stop" I said laughing as Chris ran around the house carrying me over his shoulders. He laughed and put me down. We just got done eating breakfast. We spent the whole morning talking and learning about each other. We were now sitting on our phone looking through social media. "Man fuck this shit" Chris said sitting up. I furrowed my brows "what happened" I said

"This shit with Karruche all over the blogs man. I told her dumb ass she was embarrassing us" he said rolling his eyes "I don't understand why you still put up with her" I said crossing my legs "it's harder than you think" he said "what do you mean" I said

"Look I don't want to get Into my love life with you" he said

"Excuse me" I said sitting up "what do you mean Christopher" I said annoyed that he even said that

"It's just not easy Isabella" he said locking his phone "okay so then why are you here if you're so invested in her. you're wasting my time and her time" I said standing up

"How do we even know if something will happen between us isabella, what if our parents stay together" he said

"So let's just stop this here, it's done. No more flirting, sleeping over, kissing, nothing it's done" I said

"I'm trying to be a good friend Chris. I'm trying to learn about you, figure you out, but it's like every time I try you shut me out" I said "I know I know. it's hard to open up about Karruche because it's a touchy subject" he said

"I think we should try it and see what happens. I just don't want to hurt you, I don't want you to keep seeing me with Karruche and think that I just forgot about you, you know what I mean" he said

I smiled a little and nodded "I understand Chris" I said, and I really mean it.

He got up and pulled me into a hug. He kissed my forehead and rubbed my back. "Just know you have a special place in my heart okay?" he said. I smiled against his check "okay" I said holding him tighter

"Alright I have a lot to get done today so I'm going to head out" he said grabbing his phone "alrighty" I said standing up to walk him out "don't go ghost on me now. If you need anything you know you can call me right. shoot you can even come out with me and hang out" he said

I laughed and nodded "yes I know" I said smiling "alright I'll text you later" he said hugging me again and walking out

I locked the door behind him and walked back to the living room. I sat on the couch and turned a movie on. I looked at my phone seeing my mom was calling me.
