"My daddy said that he has a crush on you" royalty said as she sat next to me watching TV

We arrived back home a couple of hours ago, and all Chris wanted to do was see Royalty. He said he was scared that he would get locked up and all he could think about was Royalty. So Nia was kind enough to let him have Royalty for the day.

"Oh did he" I said looking at her

"Yes he told me it's a secret and I can't tell anyone but I'm bad at keeping secrets" she said smiling

I laughed and shook my head "your dad is so funny"

"He really is funny" she said laughing

"What's all that laughing y'all doing" Chris said walking In the living room with a bowl of cereal

"Don't worry about it" I said

"Yeah" royalty said cheesing "can I have some daddy"

"Of course you can babygirl" he said giving her a spoonful

"Ro I'm going to talk to Isa really quickly okay" he said standing up

"Okay" she said focused on her show

He grabbed my hand and walked me to the kitchen

"Wassup" I said sitting down

"I just want to know where your head is at" he said sitting down across from me

"In regards to my mom"

"No us" he said

I furrowed my eyebrows

"What do you mean" I said confused

"Do you want to give us a shot" he said

"Chris I haven't even had time to process everything that's going on"

"What is there to process" he said

"Chris you sound delusional right now. Yeah my moms trippin but she's still with your dad" I said

"You literally came in here crying to me saying you're going to do what's best for you and you aren't going to put her feelings before yours" he said repeating to me what I told him

"Okay yes I did say that but it hasn't even been 24 hours chris"

"What are you so afraid of Isabella" he said

"I'm afraid of getting hurt Chris I don't want to get hurt" I said

"Who's going to hurt you" he said

I sighed and closed my eyes

"Idk chris" I said

"My goodness isabella you overthink shit too much. Your mom is clearly not worried about you, who cares what she thinks"

"I DO. At the end of the day that's still my mother" I said

"SHE OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOU RIGHT NOW" he yelled standing up

"Are you fucking kidding me right now" I said "let's not do this while royalty is here please"

He sighed and sat down putting his head in his hands

"Christopher all I'm asking if that you give me time to process this situation" I said

"Whatever" he said standing up and walking out the kitchen

I sat there while my mind was going insane with thoughts. I know Chris means no harm but the bigger picture is, our parents are dating.
