Chapter - 5

After dropping Yeonjoo at the store.

Deepu sighed for nth time.

"Deepu?" Jin called while driving.

"Yeah?" Deepu asked looking to her side.

"I'm going to eat dinner! Do you want to come with me?"  Jin asked with a blank face.

Deepu's heart starting beating fast.

"Huh?" Deepu asked

"Do you want to have dinner with me?" Jin asked looking at her

*What????? Ahhhhh!!! What am I gonna do??? I'm gonna die!!!*

Deepu cleared her throat ignoring the screaming voice inside.

"I-"

Before she can answer her phone started ringing.

"Hello, mom?" Deepu said

"Yeah! Yeah! Okay! I'm coming soon!" Deepu sighed sadly.

She hung up looked at Jin who was looking at the road.

"Sorry, sunbaenim! My mom wants me home early!" Deepu said feeling disappointed in herself for turning down her crush.

"Oh it's alright! I'll go alone!" Jin said dropping Deepu at her home and drove away.

!Shit!!! Maybe I looked like a creep!! What were you thinking seokjin!! What happened to slow approach!!! Dammit!!" Jin said hitting the steering wheel.

Deepu feeling disappointed walked into her home.

"I'm home!" Deepu announced removing her shoes.

"Mom?" Deepu called looking around.

"Dad??" She checked her parents room.

"Where is everyone?" Deepu asked herself.

She walked towards the dinning table and saw a plate of food covered by another plate and a chit was sticked on it.

"We are going to your father's company party! That's why I called you so you can be at home! I made your favourite dish! Don't be mad at me! We will back late night! Good night 🤪!" Deepu scoffed offended by the emoji drawn by her mom at the end.

"Woah!! For this you called me soon! You said it was something important!!" Deepu whined taking her phone out calling her mom.

"The number you are trying to call is currently switched off, please try again later!"

"Mom!!!!" Deepu dramatically yelled sitting at the table eating the food realising that she can't do anything about it! She will take care of her parents later!

She decided to watch the kdrama that was on her watch list for a while now.

Deepu was at her study table watching her favourite series Lovely runner.

"Awwww look at how he looks at her!! When my Jin is going to look at me like that!!!" Deepu blushed hugging her pillow.

She sipped her tea while watching, that's when she heard a knock on the window.

She flinched and looked at it relaxing when she saw Vidya standing there.

Vidya was holding a box in her hand.

She smiled awkwardly.

Deepu sighed and signalled her to come to main door.

She went to open the door and let Vidya in.

"I bought you, your favourite cake!" Vidya giving her the cake box after removing her shoes.

Deepu took the bag and walked into her room while Vidya followed her.
