"what?" Yeonjoo widened her eyes gasping a little.

"Yes..." Chen started sobbing.

"Oppa..." Yeonjoo's heart clenched looking at her strong brother breaking down.

He had to look after the home since their father left.

He was the one who helped his mother to overcome depression. He took the burden of the home when he was just a teenager.

He never cried or complained about anything to anyone. But looking at him breaking down. He really loved Sweety.

"Oppa, let it out!" Yeonjoo said hugging her brother as he sobbed his heart out.

After few minutes Chen calmed down and looked at Yeonjoo.

"I must have looked pathetic, didn't I?" Chen wiped his tears

"No, Oppa! It made me feel important that you are opening up to me!" Yeonjoo smiled placing her hand on his cheek.

"Are you ready to talk?" Yeonjoo asked.

Chen nodded sniffing.

Yeonjoo looked at him with anticipation.

"You know I'm working part-time at jewellery store,right?" Chen asked as Yeonjoo nodded.

"Today Sweety came there with her boyfriend looking for engagement rings!" Chen sighed sadly.

"Oppa..." Yeonjoo said empathetically.

"They looked together! She seems happy! I should just move on. I can't cry like this!" Chen said looking down.

"Oppa, I know this isn't right time for this but I want to know what happened between you two? What's the reason for your break up!" Yeonjoo asked wiping her brother's tears.

Chen thought for few seconds before speaking softly.

"Me and Sweety met during our highschool years. We both had feelings for each other and she one day asked me to go out with her. I was happy. From then we started dating." Chen said pouring some drink for himself.

"5 years! We dated for 5 years!" Chen sighed gulping down the drink.

"One day she invited me to meet her parents! On her birthday! I was nervous but she was so excited so I went to her home! The party was great and extraordinary. So lavish and expensive!" Chen said

"Vidya and Deepu were there too! After the party everyone left, me and Sweety went to talk with her parents!" Chen Sighed

Yeonjoo was looking at him patiently.

"Her father didn't liked me, at first meeting he made sure I know that I'm not welcomed!" Chen sighed.

"What do your parents work?" He asked sitting infront of them looking at him with calculating gaze.

"My mom works in a IT company, sir!" Chen said sitting straight.

Sweety was sitting next to Chen.

"What about your father?" He asked.

"He left us when we were toddlers!" Chen said looking down at his lap.

"Why? Did he find someone else or he saw your mom found someone else?" He Snickered.

Chen's eyes widened by surprise. He clenched his fist and jaw looking down.
