So, I saw this post on Facebook and I just have to talk about it. The post is in Arabic so I'll translate it for you,
The first part of the picture says: "I'm happy that I finally found someone that has the same interest and mindset as mine."
The second part says: "I know it's only a matter of time until they leave me and I'll get hurt again."
And honestly, I'm tired of seeing people having this type of mindset.
Yes people will leave you. They always will.
And that's okay.
People will never last forever in your life whether they are good or bad.
One day you will just have to split up and never see each other again, it's inevitable.
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy it while it lasts.
When people come into your life, they were never meant to stay forever, the real reason people exist in your life is because each and every single one of them teach you something.
They help you learn more, experience more, see more and understand the world better.
Yes some people will hurt you, but sometimes you have to get hurt to see the truth better.
You can't expect your life to be all cupcakes and rainbows and you also shouldn't expect it to be rainy and gloomy all the time, either.
You have to learn that the problems that happen to you in your life aren't there to just make you feel bad or torture you, they're teaching you an important lesson you NEED to learn in order to move on to the next level in your life.
You learn more vital life lessons from hardships, not prosperity.
Don't run away from the issue, but instead, embrace it. Understand that it's there to help you and it wants to see you grow better and stronger.
Everything happens for a reason, whether you believe it or not. If a good thing happens, it's for a reason. If a bad thing happens, it's for a reason, too and it will help you in the future.
I've lost people in my life before, we all did. But that won't stop me from meeting new people and creating new memories. It doesn't matter to me if they are good or bad memories, as long as I learn and grow from them.
So, yes, people will leave you. But the memories won't.
And that's what truly matters: The memories, the good memories and the bad ones. They're all precious because these are the ones that helped you become who you are today.
So make sure to make as many memories as you can with that person while they last so when you grow old you find something to cherish in your heart. 🖤
