I sat in a bus. Full of stinky people. Looking out the window. Thinking of John. Wait what? Why am I thinking of him?
Someone earlier had explained the movie too me. Pretty much it took place in the revolutionary war camp. And I have to play this fictional character named Abraham, who is like a really young soldier. My best friend is the main character, who's name is Christopher. And Together we sign up for the army.
So I'm supposed to act really happy and energetic as this Abraham guy. Then there's General Washington, played by the guy sitting next to me, and all these other characters. The movie was based off of a book, I think I had read the book before, as some of the things sounded familiar. Anyway, I'm supposed to like... die? So yeah, I'm playing this dude who is going to die.
At least I get to wear like, a revolutionary war uniform. I always thought they looked cool.
We where almost at the filming sight. It was a large field, and the fellow very professional (like me) actors told me that there where large white tents set up in it, made too look like an army camp. My brain finally finished processing the fact that some stranger has taken me into custody and I was getting paid to walk around in a costume and talk.
Now I'm like Daniel Radcliff. He became famous, maybe I could fallow in his footsteps. I wish John where here, though. I miss his smile. Wait what? No I don't. I have only had like two conversations with him. Pffft. Everyone in the bus was silent, probably had their fill of conversations.
"Look inside, look inside your tiny mind," Someone sang quietly.
"Now look a bit harder, cause we're so uninspired," Someone else sang.
"So sick and tired, of all the hatred you harbor," They sang together and someone else joined in.
"So you say, its not okay to be gay, well I think you're just evil," They sang together.
I didn't really know the song. But everyone here certainly did.
"Your just some racist," They sang loudly. "Who cant tie my laces, your point of view is medieval. FRICK YOU, FRICK YOU VERY VERY MUCH~ Cause we hate what you do, and we hate your whole crew, so please don't say in touch."
Everyone stopped singing and broke out laughing. I awkwardly sat there. Actors where weird. We kept driving for a while longer, then the bus suddenly stopped. Everyone peeked their heads out of the window.
"Cool," One of the whispered.
I looked out my window too, and saw a large open field covered in white old-fashioned tents that blended in with the landscape. A couple people walked around with cameras through the field. There where trees lining the edge of the field, all of them leafless and covered in snow.
"Lets go make a snowman!" Someone said.
I looked around to see a little boy here. Then I remembered Abraham had a brother, I guessed this little boy was the actor for my 'Brother'. They looked around ten years old. I didn't see any other child actors, the only person as young as me was my 'friend', 'Christopher'. I didn't know their real name.
"File out!" Someone said, and the entire crew ran too the door of the bus.
"LETS GO MEMORIZE SOME SCRIPTS AND PRANK EACH OTHER!" Someone yelled.
"Don't forget taking weird selfies of us in revolutionary army uniforms," Someone else added.
I guess this wouldn't be that bad. Right?
*~*
I sat inside a Caribou Coffee that was inside the mall, slowly drinking coffee. I had taken a break from trying to find Alexander, after searching the whole first and second floor of the entire mall. I'm at a Caribou Coffee. The first place we met. I sighed, staring around the place. I ordered a Northern Light Medium Latte with Caramel. I thought. Wait, why do I remember that? Seriously? that was weeks ago!
