Chapter Eight

Louis' P.O.V.

When Y/n asked if we could talk in private, I was a little bit surprised. I thought that she never wanted to talk to me again after what happened. But at the same time, I knew that this was my chance to clarify to her what happened. I let the others know that I was going to use the bathroom before we started with the unwrapping. Y/n met up with me in the hall, and I felt her gently grab my hand.

"So, what is it you want to talk to me about?" I asked, breaking the silence between us. Y/n's eyes quickly looked to both sides of the hall before her eyes locked onto mine. "Louis, I'm sorry that I've been acting like such a bitch after what happened with you and Kitana. I didn't even know that you were dating. When I saw you kissing, I got angry, and it's really unfair that I did that," she babbled. Before she could say another word, I cut in and tried to clear up the situation.

"Y/n, listen to me. Me and Kitana aren't dating. She wanted to tell me that she had a crush on me, and I didn't accept it, and she came onto me before I could do anything to stop her," I explained once Y/n stopped talking. Her eyes were full of surprise, and her jaw had dropped slightly. "O-oh my g-god, I'm so s-sorry," she stuttered in disbelief. I walked closer to her until our faces were inches away from each other.

"And another thing, I only think of Kitana as a friend. There's somebody else I have a crush on. And, it's you Y/n," I admitted to her. She looked back at the living room for a moment before looking back at me with eyes as wide as saucers. "Wait, are you serious?" she asked. I nodded slightly, a smile spreading across my face. "This better not be some sick joke," she said with a hint of seriousness in her voice.

"This isn't a joke. I really like you, Y/n. More than a friend," I confirmed. Y/n's eyes began to fill with tears, and a small part of me was scared that I was scaring her off. "I'm crying, sorry," she smiled, wiping away her tears. "I will never do anything to hurt you," I promised as I gently cupped her face in my hands, continuing to gaze into those beautiful e/c eyes. She nodded slightly as a smile of her own spread across her face. My stomach somersaulted inside me, and I was hoping that what she was saying was genuine.

"I like you too, Louis," she responded. My heart started to race inside my chest. And without a second thought, I crashed my lips onto hers. And, wrapped my arms around her waist as our lips moved in sync. We only pulled apart when we needed to catch our breath, only to be pulled back into another kiss. "Hey Louis- Oh my god!" Avi shrieked. We pulled apart and looked over at her knowing that we had been caught.

"I thought you guys would be just talking, not making a baby!" she joked. Y/n and I looked over at each other, our cheeks turning a deep red by Avi's comment. "We're were just talking," Y/n denied. "That's not what it looked like to me," she giggled. Y/n and I rejoined the party hand in hand, and we sat down next to each other and grabbed our gift bags from underneath the tree., ready to find out who our secret Santa was.
