One day... {Lev Haiba x reader}

6) 2 surprises in one day

It's been 2 weeks now since Lev left. You and him FaceTime everyday, even if he was tired from work. You finally got your music sorted out and became a singer. You're not that famous yet but you have been a bit successful with your music. 

You tried to call Lev but he didn't answer. Concerned because he always picks up right away when you call. You call it again; making sure he's okay and everything. No answer. You decided to text, knowing that it was only 2pm in America. It's been hours since you heard from Lev.

You suddenly felt sick and ran to the bathroom. As you threw up, you became lightheaded. You grabbed your phone and called Kenma. "Hello?" Kenma seemed confused on why you were calling so early.

"Can you go to the store for me..? I don't feel very well and I don't know if I might be pr-" Kenma cuts you off before you finish.

"Did you and Lev uhh.. well... ya know..-?" Turning red from what he was thinking, you tried to avoid answering the question. "Please.. can you just go buy it for me..?" He agreed and hung up.

5 minutes have passed and you get a knock from the door. You rushed to open it and pulled Kenma inside. "Did you get it..?" He smirks and gives it to you. He gave you some weird faces when you were talking to him. "What..?" He chuckles in a low tone. "Am I gonna become an uncle?" he asked as he started winking.

Flustered; you flicked his nose and ran to the bathroom. You took deep breaths before sitting down on the toilet. You and Kenma waited 2 minutes for the results. Your body was shaking and he could hear your heavy breathing. 

He pulled you in and put your head on his lap, comforting you with head scratches. When the alarm on his phone went off, you quickly sat up and looked at the test that was held in your shaky hands. You teared up and gave a smile to Kenma. 

 He began to cry as well and hugged you. "I'm so HAPPY for you Y/N-San!" He gave you the biggest hug that just made you melt into his arms. A couple of minutes later, your phone went off. You excitedly picked up your phone and saw Levs name. 

"HELLO?! LEV?! I was worried SICK! Are you okay!" All you could hear was someones heavy breathing on the other side. "Hey this is Jenny. Lev was in a car accident 4 hours ago. He's stable for now but he's in a coma at the moment.." She said trying to hold back her tears. 

All Kenma heard was a muffling voice from the other side of the phone. You dropped your phone and fainted; falling forwards and off the bed. Kenma getting scared; picked up your phone and asked what happened. Jenny explained it to him and hung up. Kenma picked you up and placed you on your bed. 

As the best friend he was, he grabbed your suitcase and started packing your clothes. You woke up about 30 minutes later, regaining consciousness. You sat up on the edge of the bed and saw Kenma with a suitcase. "Are you going somewhere Kenma-San..?" 

"Not me.. you," as he points at you. You tried remembering what happened and it suddenly hit you. You gave him a nod and grabbed your suitcase. 

"What about-" Kenma puts a finger over your lips. "The plane ticket is in your purse, I packed some snacks for you to eat on the plane. I also put $50 in your wallet. Clothes are all packed, a small blanket in case you get cold, your video game in case you get bored because reminder.. it's going to be a 14 hour flight. Oh and don't forget your neck pillow, your neck might hurt from the way you will be sleeping.. and please don't forget to turn on the airplane WiFi. Wear some thick clothing, it's cold there and be careful of the crowds in New York.. some people might mug you Y/N.."

You gave Kenma a bright smile. He has always been loving but never to the point where he would be this caring. You kissed his cheek and took your suitcase to the car. Kenma dropped you off and told you to be careful. Admiring his carefulness, you waved at him and told him you will.

As you sat in the plane, you thought about Lev on a hospital bed. You didn't like it. You wiped your tears before anyone would see. You sat back, relaxed and couldn't wait to be by his side again.

Approximately 14 hours later, you got off the airplane; stretching your legs out. You went out of the gate and saw a man holding a sign with your name in big letters. You walked over to see Jenny and the man. The man quickly got your suitcase and walked to the limo. It was pretty hard for Jenny to walk past the crowd without getting the paparazzi's attention. You also had trouble walking past.

You guys sat quietly in the limo. Thinking of how to break the silence, Jenny asked you a question that made your eyes widen. "Are you pregnant Y/N?" She looks at you with a slight smile. "H-How did you know..?" you were confused yet surprised she asked such a question. "I can see the test sticking out of your purse." She giggles.  "O-oh.." you looked down. "Hey.. he's going to be alright..okay..?" You bit your lip and nodded.

You drop your suitcase at his condo and made your way up to the hospital as quickly as you could. You ran to the front desk whilst panting, waiting for your breathing to calm down. "May I help you?" the woman asked with a welcoming smile. "Yes! Um.. Lev.. Lev Haiba?" you said between pants. 

She took a glance at her computer before looking back at you. "He's in room 372. Go down the right hall, up the elevator to the 3rd floor and walk all the way down to the left," she instructed. "Thank you!" you walked at a steady paste, not wanting to run through the hospital or bump into a doctor or patient.

As you made your way down the hall, you see the room number 372. But you weren't able to get inside because of the crowd of paparazzi's that swarmed the door. You made your way to the front of the door. You took a deep breathe before entering. As you tried to open the door, a man tapped your arm. You looked behind to see flashes in your eyes. 

"Who are you? How do you know Lev Haiba? Are you his girlfriend?" The man asked you a bunch of questions; following behind was more reporters asking you questions. "Look, the love of my life is on the other side of this door. I have no time to answer any of your questions. If you excuse me.. I want to see him." They stood quiet and stopped asking questions. 

You opened the door and closed it quickly so no one took a quick picture of Lev on the hospital bed. Following behind was Jenny. You rushed to Levs side and held his hand. You gave him a broken smile with tears streaming out. 

You grasped his hand tightly so he knew you were there. You stayed by his side for a week. With no response from him yet. You decided to tell him the big surprise.
