We all get into Jethro's car. About 5 minutes after we leave, I'm already bored and anxious. I look out the window to find nothing but pastures for miles. Through the side mirror Eden is staring out the window happily. Pastures are her favorite place to be. If she is ever upset you can find her there. I turn my head to look at Jethro. His eyes stay on the road, but I know he feels my eyes. My hand slides over to his leg lovingly. Jethro takes a hand off the steering wheel and puts it on mine as if it was instinct.
These people right here are the only ones that can be trusted with anything. They are the type of people that will help you hide a body at 2 AM. In society today, it is very difficult to find these types of people. People normally find them terrifying to be around. They are also normally hated just by their stance around public places. You must dig deep into them to truly understand who they are. They are amazing people once you become close with one another. I honestly hope and pray I never lose either of them. Not just because I'd lose them as a friend, but they know things that no one else does.
We continue to drive for a little while longer before pulling into a parking space. I hop out of the car and walk over to the bathroom. Once inside I saw Luna standing in the back corner. I walk up to her.
"You got the money sweetie?" Luna questioned as I stepped closer. Luna is a young lady with a kind face. Her hair is a dark purple color. She always dyes her hair. Every time I see her, it's a different color.
"Right here, Suga." I respond while taking the four-hundred dollars out of my pocket. I don't normally carry around this much cash in my pockets/wallets. It's very dangerous to do so in this town.
Luna takes the money from me with her cool hands and turns around. She took a few steps into the biggest stall and bought out a travel cooler filled to the top with hospital blood bags.
She hands me the cooler while saying, "Girly be careful. If you get caught with this, you will be taken away. Don't get caught. Please stay safe." She always has cared for me about my safety, but she knows I won't do anything to get me in trouble. That she knows of anyways.
I thanked and reassured her that I would be fine. With that I left the bathroom. We put the cooler in the trunk before anyone drove by. I got into the car and buckled up.
"All good. Now drive safe. We all could get into some serious shit." I exclaim. We drove away following all road laws. We followed every speed limit. Not going over even slightly.
Once we got back to the safe house, I unloaded the cooler while Eden unlocked and opened the front door of the house. Once I get inside and set the blood in the kitchen, I grab a blood bag and sit down. I open the top and start drinking it little by little. This one doesn't taste the same as the last one. What kind of blood is this? I look down at the blood bag. On the label it says, AB-. Cool so this is what AB- tastes like. Not like my first one but still good.
BEEP!
Not knowing my mind was somewhere else, I jumped at the sound of my phone going off. I lift my phone, so the screen turns on. On the lock screen it says '1 New Message'.I unlock my phone to see who it is and message back.
Sis.
S: Hey sis
Me: Hey Deathra whats up?
S: Nothing much, how are you doing?
Me: I'm doing ok. What about you?
It takes her a bit to respond so I set my phone down. Deathra is my little sister. She's eleven years younger than me. She has long dirty blond hair. My sister looks like she's on the heavier side, but really she's just big boned like her dad. She's a Demon. Don't ask how. I assume she is the result of my mothers unfaithfulness.
After my dad died, she hasn't been able to stay faithful. I guess no one is like my dad. He was the only one who treated my mother right. I miss my father so much. I have always been a daddy's girl. Him and I did everything together.
My phone dings again and I raise it again.
Sis
S: I'm good just wondering if you would want to hang out. I know what day today is and i think it would be good if we hang out and get your mind off it.
Me: I think that would be awesome. I have Eden and Jethro with me at my safehouse if you want to come by.
S: Sure. Be there in a little bit.
Me: Ok ill see you when you get here.
